I was mostly satisified with the base game, my thinking is that a solid, 15 hour extra chapter and quest with lots of depth to it would really round it out nicely.

Have to remember too that the more resources they divert to producing DLC the less they have available to work on a sequel. I don't know what others think and this is just my personal prediction, but I believe that there's a reasonable chance we might still see a Horizon sequel release on PS4 this console cycle.

It's in the vid I posted above. You access it from the North and it's advised you are a good level before you enter. There's more interesting information in that vid too.

Thanks, i didn't watch because I dont want any kind of spoilers. Looks like I will probably need to be at least level 20 or so (just a random guess) which means many hours of game -.- meh. I preordered the expansion and only after I realized my old save game wouldnt work. =/ Not really interested in replaying the whole game, but I already spent the money so I dont think I have an option here. (game is amazing though).

I'll definitely get the complete edition. I wasn't interested in this game initially because I dislike bow and arrow combat, but lately I've been reading a lot of good stuff about it and it got me going. Love the snowy DLC look as well.

I hate the term "complete edition". It implies we were sold an incomplete game rather than a complete game and then an expansion.

Other than me being unnecessarily picky having the DLC and game on disc is a great thing and it's an awesome game to boot.

In the Adjust Your Brightness screen, it says to make sure 2 circles are visible. I only see 1 circle though, even after playing with the slider.
I only got my HDR TV a few weeks ago.

It's a shame people can't see the point I'm trying to make due to exact dates not being applied.

Games release, then release DLC and then release COMPLETE Edition well within 12 months of the base game's release. This wasn't entirely aimed at Horizon, which I even said. Nioh has done the same thing, for example.

To me this just comes across as content removed to be added as DLC, so publishers can effectively charge you twice (maybe in three times) for one IP (Base+DLC (+Complete/GOTY)). However, judging by people's 'LOL' replies, I'm guessing I'm the only one that feels this way so whatever.

Because while your point is valid about other games, it's not valid to HZD. It feels like a complete full game at launch. No micro transactions, no bs, high quality game with patches in a timely manner. You're barking up the wrong tree. Your point would be received better in a thread of a game guilty of what you're saying.
