Rebecca was worse in the anime. Yeah Shirahoshi cries a lot but that's about it. With Rebecca they kept putting her in worse and worse situations to show how pathetic she is.

It's not like I hate Sanji or anything. Its just that he's not the best. Least favorite not most hated. Chopper is just a good boy that wants to heal people.
And fails all the time. I know he is learning he is learning and good doctors need assistants etc.
Chopper got it worse with the timeskip. Before that he always had something in him and after the timeskip even his rampage mode has been kawaiied.

Have any of the straw hats died from scurvy or illness? No? Then I think he is doing a wonderful job. All the straw hats have both arms and legs, and a head clear for sailing all thanks to Chopper and his magical bandages.

Chopper's the cute mascot. Sanji is just the mean cook who treats the male members with apathy or disgust, while turning int a raving lunatic around female members.
Chopper is also the emergency rations and doctor. Luffy was clearly a man with a plan when he recruited him.

Most of Choppers role in this arc was chillin with Carrot. I honestly think a 3 chapter arc put in that focused more on them in the mirror world would have hurt the pacing. Maybe a little more with them captured, but, imo, Brook needed the air time more.

Chopper has to have a moment of awesomeness coming this arc. Oda made a point of giving everyone in Dressrosa one or two moments and Brook, Nami & Jinbei got theirs.
Unless he's about to go through an Usopp-esque character development and this is merely his "Skypeia" before his "Water 7".

He may very well be the equivalent of how Robin was treated in Dressrosa, where he gets to do things here and there, but nothing particularly notable on the level of Nami, Brook, and even Jinbe. Wouldn't be surprised if they saved his "moment to shine" for Wano, Pedro's death and Jinbe's speech really got to him.
But yea, they need to get stronger.
