I saw that they're about to rerelease the Volcano Girls tournament with new commentary on SMV, I'll absolutely sub to Powerbomb to check that out.

Good call Bronx, I'm checking it out right now and there's some good stuff.

Ohh even the stylised public sketches are getting to me, this man is delivering what I hope my hobbyist arse can someday do.

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"
The rumor is that its not just Jojo, Bo and Bray who have some mystery illness, but that others in the main event might also have gotten sick as well. Imagine how well it will go over if someone on the Shield doesn't make the event.

Just have Kane cut a promo about how it's a voodoo curse from the Deadman from beyond the grave and he's here to take out the rest of them

Sounds like we could be getting this generation’s Great American Bash 2006 just with an illness instead of elevated liver enzymes.

WWE UK UPDATE

A source close to the situation has told PWInsider.com that the company has been ramping up pitches to several different UK broadcasters. The pitch revolves around the idea of carrying a WWE UK-centric property that would be produced in Great Britain featuring an all British cast of characters.

The current title for the series, we are told, is WWE King of The Ring. Obviously, that is a repurposing of the title of a tournament that has been around since the late 1980s, initially as an annual special event in the Boston market before graduating into its own PPV event in 1993. The King of the Ring PPV was halted in 2006 but was brought back from time to time as an attraction used to elevate talents to the next level. It was last used in 2015 with Bad News Barrett winning the tournament.

PWInsider.com has also been told that one of the broadcasters WWE is pitching is ITV, which is interesting on a number of levels.

Oh my god ITV worked themselves into paying for a WWE show

I mean it makes sense. ITV wants a wrestling show, and it's way less hassle and probably cheaper to pay WWE for one than it is to run the whole thing themselves.

Another important bit from that PWI report

Talks of the UK brand launching as a series had quieted down in recent months, especially after WWE signed deals with PROGRESS Wrestling and ICW to bring those promotions to the planned (but still yet to launch) WWE Network tiered-system. Those plans and talks, however, are obviously still continuing.

So it's just a matter of time now on when we get the next tier of WWE Network.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they tried setting up a WWE Australia brand or some shit like that.

When the UK stuff happened, Meltzer said that one of Triple H's visions is having developmental territories all around the world that run with local talent and eventually sending talent between the various brands.

meltzer is officially a mark ass mark, claiming last monday's raw rating is "as low as they'll go"

alvarez immediately laughs in his face and tells him it can FULLY go lower, we still have basketball and the world series coming up

I also laugh at the whole "this is as low as it'll go" sentiment because everyone was saying that shit 5 years ago when the rating went below a 3.0. now hitting 2.0 is considered a success. it will only continue to go down, especially when they don't have guys like goldberg that they can bring in to save them.

Who is the bigger mark... the one who is paid to talk about ratings.... or the one who is so obsessed about it he talks about it for free and even coined a catchphrase?
