Not considered GOTY but a part of conversation. And indeed it was at launch. Not to mention it won some awards.
People talk about GOTY in January? :messenger_fearful:
I wouldn't imagine many being angry over this going more multiplat, smaller games like this (and PS Dreams) kinda need it.

Yeah, when the game launched it was extremely acclaimed and people literally said that it was one of the best games and a GOTY candidate. Game looked amazing, was extremely polished etc.
And in the end - while it did not win GOTY - it won a lot of nominations.

It seems quite stupid to me to do multi but only on Switch, leaving PS5 out, if it is already multi... it is foolish to give up that piece of the cake.

I see no drawback same as with Ori games.
HiFi Rush is not system seller and it never was. So it's basically free money and we know that Microsoft is kinda okay with releasing some of their games on Nintendo platforms.

I'm kinda surprised that Pentiment and Psychonauts 2 aren't already on Switch.

No official confirmation still, so we'll see...
Erm, it is not like it was supposed to be announced today and yesterday in the first place. It is pretty possible for it launch with Switch 2 for example which won't happen until the autumn...

Both Ori and HF Rush had an extremely distinct look that allowed to create an identity with the platform. But releasing the games on other platforms, they stop being the part of Xbox identity. Which is a shame and I believe it is more Microsoft main talking, but Microsoft - historically - failed in building unique identity due to being a software company. They literally don't know how. Sony and Nintendo both can run IPs in the ground but still preserve the identity association with their platform. Xbox cannot and don't know how to do that. With HF Rush it is understandable why would they want to release it on Switch, it fails to create a mascot for Xbox.

Wait a second. @Tacitus_killgore17 has 0 post? I always see them laughing at everything not positive regarding Sony and liking everything for Sony or against other platforms. Could have sworn I've seen them post at least once.

Called him out ages ago. The guy is the biggest gimp on the forum. At least the other warriors have the decency to post shit so we can see how deluded they are.

This is the game the leaker think will get people to jump to Xbox for a sequel after getting a taste of the first game? This is the game die hard fans are going to be upset about?

There's already a bunch of better portable options to play it than on Switch. At least I can give it a try when it comes to PS+. Thanks, I guess!(?)

Hope this is true. I enjoyed what I played of the game and this would be a great fit for the switch if they can get it to run well.

Honestly makes more sense, Action games sell better on PS,audience us there,of course MS will see that aiding their biggest competitor lol
It's a rhythm game, a popular genre on Nintendo consoles. Hell they made Just Dance games for the Wii all the way to 2020, 14 years after the console released, 3 years after its successors successor launched.

Need to yell at some clouds.....

While I know Bethesda owns the studio, and it is very much "the truth"( although it should be called Microsoft's Masterpiece now considering...) it is heinous that someone/site would call this "Bethesda's Masterpiece". No one at the studios in Maryland (or Redmond for that matter) could ever create something that stylized/fresh/etc. At least give credit to Tango in your headline you monsters.

One last edit...promise

I read the garbage cat article and they didn't credit Tango Gameworks at all.

I think the game, both visually and conceptually, is right a home with the rest of Nintendo's library, I'm sure there's an audience there. Steam Deck owners can also speak on their portable experience.
