I think it depends on the playstyle.

I always go to the golden casket, double man doors, explodable door container when i see one, some people don't give a fuck about them.

You can play 20 hours and get zero sc or play 5 hours and get 50 of them, less if unlucly, more if lucky, i heard people finding 100 sc sometimes.

Didn't realize the new energy-weapon is an SMG.
Seems pretty effective after a quick try-out, but wonder how the overheating will affect it's effectiveness intensive battles.

Also curious to the extent of effectiveness of the new booster that's extends time between waves of enemies.

Word of advice - don't bother w/the new explosive plasma shotgun vs bugs. Prob great om bots though due to distance.

Actually, im sure its good if your strategem weapom can deal w/nearby chaff (machine gun for ex). But since i still love my railgun for larger enemies, i need my primary for cqc. (Looking forward to the page 3 electric shotty)

Incredible how good this game is still and its getting better. Bought the new laser AR, its really great. Has its downsides too so seems pretty balanced. Just played a round on Hellmire at night with fire tornados... man it looked stunning on my OLED monitor. This game is something else

1) This is ultimately your preference, but with that build I'd say go PS5. Also the the game has good usage of the controller features.
2) Server issues in terms of actually playing are mostly solved. There are still other issues, and right now there seems to be some issue with the game remembering your armor and weapon load outs.
3) Won't be an issue at all. No level gating. The only thing that might be an issue is if you jump in with much higher level players and get tossed into the higher difficulties.

I've been avoiding the higher difficulties solely because of framerate issues on PS5. It turns into an unresponsive slide show, and devs just keep adding more stuff.

They clearly play on PC. :/

I think i'm with you on this, i'm level 14 and getting kinda board. I think you need to have a team to play with, playing with randoms is starting to be a drag. Playing with good friends though on challenging or above could be great I can see.

Talk and make some friends. Also the game really isn’t dynamic until the higher difficulties. 6/7/8 is extreme fun. The game holds back enemy variety in the lower difficulties.

I have a great time playing with randoms that aren’t bad. The bad ones can be funny or just annoying.

I’ve found it’s easiest to do on Terminid planets. The light armor from tier 7 of the free Warbond has extra stealth and the extra stamina doesn’t hurt. There is also it’s ping mechanic which highlights points of interest if ya ping them, but I don’t really use it.

Blitz missions are really good for it because you can go in, find the rock, blow up some bugs and get the hell out within 12 minutes. Might be helpful to bring the static field turret in case ya need to run from a bug breach too.

Buy better weapons with warbonds. There is a different currency for strategems. It is the R thing you get. Strategems are also bought at a different control panel. Not sure all ships have the same layout.

Is the PS5 - PC friend invite problem fixed? Haven't played in a bit and last time I checked I could not play with my PC pals. They were not able to join any PS5 session, and vice versa.

I am on PS5, with 15 hours of game logged and never had a single crash. I don't know if the crash is network related, some kind of exception they are not handling.

I'm on PC and haven't had a single crash except when exiting the game. Twice it froze when quiting the first day I played, but haven't had a repeat since.

Tried all the new weapons:

Sickle is good but i don't care for it, it act just like any other ar but with better ammo economy and a delay before firing, not super impressed, i would still chose breaker, slugger, punisher and spray and pray before even considering this one, it probably shine against bots because it is precise and has basically no recoil so good for sniping heads, it definitely doesn't feel op at all.

Plasma shotgun felt like shit, hard to aim and the splash damage is pretty low, never gonna touch it again.

The electric shotgun is basically a lesser arc thrower, less damage, less chaining, less range, but it has great stopping power and when it actually work it feels good against mini-hordes, not sure how it gonna deal with bots but i don't have a good feeling about it...

Been playing with ps5 friends since the second week the game was released. Never had an issue

Last time I played, previous weekend, I couldn't not invite a steam pal to join my party or friend list. And vice-versa.

I had also another PS5 friend trying to invite the steam player and it also didn't work. Went to reddit boards and seems there are a ton of issues about this.

I'm surprised you didn't had any issues so far to be honest.
