There is no way Nintendo could possibly go to third parties with a straight face if they didn't have UE3. None.

Miyamoto has said he wanted to do a remake.

What an incredibly boring pathetic attempts by Sony and Microsoft.
The only good thing out of E3 so far was the FF13-2 trailer which wasn't even at a conference.

- Games for it (Valve? Rockstar? Epic? etc)
- Their online partner

No. Epic does not work backwards. This thing needs to meet their goals for the future or else it would also be on the PS3/360.

I believe that Nintendo will have a great showing, Cafe will impress everyone, 3rd parties will seem to be on board. Everyone will proclaim Nintendo to be "back" (even though they've dominated for years now).

Then three years from now, 3rd parties will have essentially abandoned it for the most part for the next Xbox and PS4. Droughts galore, and people will be talking about the next Ninty console that will bring 3rd parties back.

Valve's already said they're not showing any games at E3. Doesn't rule out the steamworks possibilities, though it sounds too good to be true.

Its funny how the past few E3's have had mostly boring conferences from everyone else...aside from maybe that XIV megaton during the Sony conference that came out of left field. Say what you want, but that trailer was awesome.

Only half an hour to go and nothing leaked. Very impressive, considering that almost always some things came through the last years a day early, thanks to some Japanese press.

Yeah with the different direction Skyward Sword is taking the series I hope they keep the OoT formula alive somehow with handhelds.

We still haven't gotten a Nintendo EAD developed Zelda handheld announcement yet either, OoT3D is completely Grezzo developed

Huh? Someone posted a quote from Mark Rein saying that if Nintendo came out with a more powerful console, they would/might port UE3. Right? UE3 is already on the PS3/360, is it not? Or at least the 360...

Honestly I'll be disappointed if the next Zelda game announced is another remake. Like, unless they're remaking LttP as a 3D Zelda in HD.

- New Mario shown
- Super Smash Bros Cafe
- New 2D Metroid
- Super Mario 3DS
- some minor tidbits on DS
- a few new wii games revealed, but nothing really major
- SKYWAADU SWOOODO
