I can't wait at all... I'm soooo hyped that it hurts too much!

I take it that FFXIII-2 burned you pretty hard, huh.

For people who have played the game already, how does it compare to Tales of Symphonia? That's the only Tales game I've played, but I absolutely love it (I've beaten it 3 times, probably logged a couple hundred hours into the game total at least).

With respect to narrative, Graces' narrative is weaker than Symphonia's imo. Team Destiny games in general are like that with respect to Team Symphonia games.

With respect to the battle system/abilities, well, check it out. Nearly everyone is really fun to take manual control of as well (though, tbh, Sophie's Arte Style isn't my favourite MA-type in the series (but her Burst Style is ok; as I said, I prefer Cheria to do the healing since Cheria uses multiple target healing artes, while Sophie uses single-target healing artes). I prefer Jude and Senel's MA styles a lot more than hers).

Portable games are indeed your friend. It's probably because of all the RPGs on portables that I've shifted to getting more use out of my portables than my consoles during this generation.

Not to mention that SE's portable output seems to be better than their console output in general.

It might be a personal perspective but quality tends to be better when the budget is lower as odd as that sounds. Also, I think better of portable games because of the resources it takes. I think JRPG developers are just used to developing with things that they are familiar with and in this case portable resembles the consoles of olden days.

I would advise against trolling too much. The Tales series already has kind of a "meh" reputation hurting it enough as if, it doesn't needs its fans to help killing its popularity.
That and the "why u not release Xillia instead?!" thing several months earlier were pretty bad, so let's be clever so time. Or simply go classic.

As much I like funny thread titles--and SonicGAF is no stranger to them since we love them!--I don't think the Tales audience would take too kindly to them. -_-

I definitely agree with you for the most part with the portable games. It's not always the case, but when they're budget, they're usually really good and reminiscent of older titles.

I don't like the font used for the artes, too simplistic compared to the other Tales titles (which usually use beautiful fonts).

I like the pose in Nimble Fang. This game seems way more stylish than the previous Tales I played (Symphonia, Eternia), havent made it far enough to get into a battle yet in Tales of the Abyss 3D yet (still at the manor).
