I've never actually used baking soda for anything like that. Should I set it out in the open near the case or actually put it in there? I don't want to make a mess inside.
Probably best to just sprinkle it on the outside, not unless you can vaccuum it out or something. I haven't looked too much into doing it in a case since usually they aren't known for stinking so bad you need to deodorize them.

Cool, thanks :

Was the PSP overclocked to more than 333MHz? If it wasnt more, then you didnt need to hack your PSP to get that. 333MHz was unlocked in PSP firmware 3.50 (i think it was 3.50 at least).

Well, the original units were clocked lower than that at 222mhz and I think after it was revealed and so many people were doing it to homebrew units that they decided to go ahead and implement it in every psp. I'm thinking the same thing could happen here.

Sitting here playing HSG2 like a peasant…

LOL, I have been doing the same after seeing all the HSG chat in here, can't wait 'til the 22nd now

Sitting here doing 18 holes of training :)

You guys will love the game.. Screw IGN and their 6.5. If you get a double boggy, and lose after leading the whole tourney, that's your fault.. LOl@IGN for calling the game unforgiving.. That's sports... I know if you lose after playing a game for 45mins it can be frustrating. It sounds like the reviewer wanted a retry button like in training mode. I'm against that sort of thing in racing and sports games. I don't know, maybe they got the wrong person to review the game.

In addition. The graphics are great. Enough of a step up for me. I don't need HSG to be the best looking game on Vita.

What? The PSP games aren't all compatible? o_O

Over 90 percent are compatible. A few aren't at the moment. There is a list in the OP with the few games which aren't and the games which do work.

Unfortunately one that isn't is a game I want to play. Hope Sony can get Ys I & II fixed asap!

I wonder if there will be an option to overclock the processor like with the original psp once it is jailbroken. Also it should be possible for them to make an adapter to use sd cards instead of their flash memory cards right?

Aren't SD cards much bigger? Think they're bigger than both game and flash cards.

I dont know the story behind the overclocking, but since it was officially supported, i'm guessing that the PSP CPU was underclocked on purpose for whatever reason. I dont think that Sony would do an official update like this if it was any danger of overclocking (which overclocking usually can be if there isnt any extra cooling added to the CPU). If there is a similar situation with the Vita, then sure, CPU overclocking might be possible yeah :)

Describe for me exactly how the vita case smells

Sorry...I just automatically read that in his voice.

I know that peace walker unofficially works on the vita, but does anyone know if it 'transfars' with the PS3 correctly? I am tempted to double dip and get a digital version, but if it's not going to transfar i won't bother.

Describe for me exactly how the vita case smells

Mine smells like a combination of burned rubber and burned wood. The smell is so strong that my car now smells like it after having it on my passenger seat for an hour during my commute. I contacted Sony and Amazon about it.

Why can't they add screenshots and videos with the games in the PS Store? Also why didn't I buy a memory card, I filled up the 4GB card in no time..

Would be curious to hear what Amazon says since they have some of the best customer service around.

Normal SD cards are much much bigger (32mm*24mm), although the micro SD(11mm*15mm) is just a tad smaller than a Vita memory card (13mm*15mm) so maybe someone could get an adapter made using the 2mm difference...

My £5 Rayman has been cancelled :( :(

Mine has not, nor has Lumines that is in the same order. I fully expected it to be cancelled which is why I got Rayman as my £15 game but I would have expected them to do it by now.

Boo! I was really looking forward to giving it a try. Now I'm probably never going to play it. Amazon should have canceled it immediately instead of giving people false hope. Which GAFer was it who contacted customer support about it and was promised he would get it?

Don;t forget you can download the demo. Plus it's probably going to be cheap within a few weeks anyway.

Have there been any Unit 13 reviews yet? Is it even out yet in US, I know it's a Europe launch game. I looks kind of interesting but I need to see more of it first.

It's not a UK launch game, its March 7th, day after the US. The preview from thesixthaxis looked very promising however.

C'mon Wednesday.

Odds on Amazon.co.uk shipping out on Monday?

Maybe if they ever come up with something smaller than micro SD. Nano SD? I wouldn't hold my breath lol

Has anyone else tried the Uncharted demo at Gamestop? Mine would reset after going through the window to exit the burning building. I really wanted to try out the gun-play =\

I thought the hardware felt great: touchscreen, sticks, d-pad, buttons, and all. Screen was nice and vibrant, UI was fluid, and the graphics look much better in person. My only issue was with the PS button, where pressing it would exit the games. Is this universal of all games, only for demos, specific games, or a retail demo unit? It was pretty obnoxious.

So Little Deviants isn't as terrible as everyone made it out to be. It's not great, at all, but it's a nifty little tech demo. My biggest problem is that gold medals require you to be nearly perfect on the stage. I get being "way above" the curve, but seriously, almost unfairly difficult gold requirements.

Sony shipped the PSP with a 333mhz CPU, but they underclocked it to 222mhz to conserve battery life (remember, this was before PSP games were up on PSN).

The UMD drive destroyed the battery life on the PSP.

So they didn't overclock the PSP, they just removed the limit to let it run at its full capability.

I don't think it would've been so bad if it weren't for the fact that Welcome Park is really the tech demo for the system.

It really is a $10 game being sold for $30.

Yea the demo units at retail have that terrible uncharted demo. I was like seriously? I don't get to aim at anyone at least? The demo that you dowbloab from PSN has an extra chapter to choose from and it starts immediately with a sniping mission, and shows off the gyro aim really well.

So how easy is it to move stuff from one Mem card to another? I want to move my stuff to my new 8GB and keep my 4GB for psp games. Pretty simple with the content manager on PC?

I just got back from a GameStop myself.

I went to GameStop specifically to try out the gunplay in Uncharted. I was not happy when the demo ended without a single bullet having been fired. I can't help but think this wasn't by accident. They didn't want people to experience the aiming in the demo, and that really concerns me.

Furthermore, I played with the analog sticks a bit, and it immediately struck me how limited the travel of the sticks was. It's hard to imagine fine adjustments being possible when the sticks have such limited movement. Moving one of these sticks 2mm would be the equivalent of moving a dual shock 3 stick at least double that. As you can imagine, trying to line up a headshot is basically impossible. This is quite disheartening to me.

It almost makes me wonder if having sliders like the 3DS is a better option. At least substantial movements are possible, and frankly I think the slider on the 3DS feels great. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds with games like Resistance, but I genuinely fear this could end up being the Vita's Achilles Heel. People hoping for an awesome Call of Duty experience in their hands may be in for a rude awakening when it arrives this fall.

Going through the process right now. Sync trophies connect Vita to PC, select backup wait awhile...this is where I am now.

People already played Uncharted so we know how it controls. Using the gyro for motion assist pin point accuracy is supposed to work great.

And lets not talk about the circle pad and shooters. No thanks.
