That I enjoyed politics and country music.
I got bored and I used filler quotes from American Psycho for many of the stupider parts of the profile. I think people appreciated that, although they're gone now because of some naturally suspicious people
The profile was just kind of like a dating resume. Was honest about everything, repeatedly insulted the question algorithms, and was a snarky bitch about some of the required information. I'd... like to think it was personality that got the responses?
Or people just like sarcastic bitchy arrogance. *shrug*
(I specifically put "not interested in sex, at all, with anyone right now" on the profile. That does not slow down the messages from people who are clearly not interested in anything else. Those people do -not- read profiles.)
Also I never ended up being interested enough with any internet matches to meet them anyways; there's one I kiiiiinda like, but I feel like he's going to be disappointed when he takes me shirt off and realizes I'm a lanky skinny fuck, and he's basically a greek god. Only guy I've met up with since was from school.
I think as long as you have a good photo then you can write whatever you want and still get quite a few responses.

OK Cupid and Plenty of Fish. Both have been terrible for my first venture onto online dating. I've also signed up for Chemistry.com but it seems to be half-assed unless you pay for it.
I thought about joining a local Pride group just for something to do and a place to make friends and possibly find someone. That's really all I can think of.
