OK, photos! Hope people are happy :p

I didn't include photos from non-Vita screens. Feels like that would be a misrepresentation.

I'm very pleased with the launch lineup and the rest of the year even with the probable delays, but I still want NHL 13 Vita with back touch shooting and a decent port of F1 2012.

For E3, I'm hoping for a new Valkyria Chronicles, Gran Turismo and RPGs. I'm also ready to be hugely disappointed when they announce Invizimals and Hannah Montana.

It's not a bad list actually. I just hope we see a lot of the Japanese games localised, as to me, a lot of the PSP's strengths were its Japanese catalogue of games. I'm praying for localisations of Ragnarok Odyssey, Tales of Innocence R and Lord of Apocalypse (we did get Arcana, so here's hoping, however I fear it didn't do well).

I totally agree. That might make me buy the Vita.

Wow, pretty impressive, definately enough stuff to keep you busy through out the year. Would love to see them get Mass Effect on a portable system, now that would be impressive.

Shit. No Monster Hunter?

I thought there was an HD remake or something like that announced. Not the one the 3DS got, but still something to scratch that itch.

I need my Monster Hunter on Vita. I'm almost tempted to double dip on Freedom Unite. But I've already got like 400 hours on that game. Almost though.

Silent Hill
Mortal Kombat
Gravity Rush
Dragon's Crown
SoundShapes
Warrior's Lair
Final Fantasy X
Good People Die
Little King's Story
Persona 4
Ragnarok Odyssey
Tales of Innocence R
Ys Celceta
Blackrock Shooter
Grand Knights History

DAMN. And I was trying to be sensible with it as well D:
Assuming 90% of this list comes out this year, that's a pretty great lineup (albeit lacking some killer app, but as a whole it's excellent)
Looking forward to GDC/E3/TGS reveals too

That's why I haven't bought a Vita yet.

The only thing that separates the Vita from the 3DS or iOS is the potential to do console quality games on a handheld. But it needs those console quality games - things like Gravity Rush and Frobisher says aren't going sell Vitas

This is dumb, Gravity Rush and Frobisher are nothing alike, GR was originally a PS3 game, as it happens. Can't get much more 'console quality' than that

Yes, I know they were not alike, but they are two of the Vita's exclusives that seemed handheld orientated (despite GR's origin on the PS3). You could add Escape Plan and Sound Shapes, too.

Much like LocoRoco and Patapon, they will likely be good games that garner a lot of good press and buzz here, but probably not sell all that well to the mainstream or convince them to buy a Vita. Not at $250+

Well that's your opinion, but then you'd get people saying 'why do I need a Vita?' if it's something that's exactly replicable on the PS3. It needs a mixture of 'console' and unique handheld experiences, which is exactly what the Vita has

I don't think it makes much sense to compare Gravity to Patapon or LocoRoco. Yes, it's not a mainstream game, but in terms of presentation, length, gameplay and probably budget it's much closer to a "normal" console title.

Strangely, despite myself being personally a bit down on the Vita's future, Vita's Japanese releases I listed I believe have a pretty good chance of getting localized - for once.

Ciel no Surge - not the likeliest, but has a possibility of getting localized by NISA due to its relationship with Gust

DJ Max Technika Portable - likely, but maybe digital only

Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die - well Aksys has already announced it - but is it for the Vita?

Lord of Apocalypse - dunno why SE hasn't announced it yet. They released the inferior prequel on the PSP, and from what I heard this game is much-improved.

Malicious - likely, maybe just PSN, unless the game's greatly expanded.

New Little King's Story - Konami already announced it for Europe. I find it hard to belirve it won't come to NA at this point.

Persona 4: The Golden - It's Persona. It's Atlus. Go figure.

Ragnarok Odyssey - highly requested on XSEED's forum. Given XSEED's relationships, this is quite possible

Samurai & Dragons - probably just a PSN title, but likely.

Tales of Innocence R - I didn't think this was possible at all, until the recent rumors came up: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=463860&highlight=rumor+tales+of+innocence

Ys Celceta: Sea of Trees - at this point I think this is a given, especially after what Falcom's president said.

Er, that's not the only thing at all. The entire network infrastructure separates the Vita from any handheld device on the market, period. There is no other handheld that blends online features with mobile gaming better.

Vita has too many console ports!

No, Vita has not ENOUGH console ports!

I wanna play COD and Bioshock!

I don't want people to have console ports, give us handheld only games or I'll never buy a Vita!

Poor Vita. Doomed if you do, doomed if you don't.

Of the games coming out in the next few months, I'll get The Show and Gravity Rush for sure. Likely to buy Motorstorm, Mortal Kombat, and LBP.

Borderlands 2? X-com? Darksiders 2? Ghost Recon? NCAA football?

I would have hoped it would have gotten some of the bigger games also heading for the PS3.
Give it time. Now that the system is on shelves, most of the big announcements will likely show up at E3 or beyond. Considering how dry the post-launch period typically is for a new console, the Vita is doing particularly well.

The 3DS was absolutely dreadful last year in this regard.

My god at that list. I was going to post the games I was interested in but it would take way to long. I would love to see some ports of the big console games this year, especially Borderlands 2. That game seems like it would be perfect on the Vita.

Better example are probably Okami and Team Ico games. More of a traditional game that's going to get a good bit of buzz, and probably end up with a few hundred thousand copies sold in the long run at least, but won't exactly be pushing systems in great enough numbers to matter for that purpose.

Don't pass gaas, it is your Destiny!
Don't think Mortal Kombat is making its date, just got a mail saying its delyaed to 12/12

Yeah, those comparisons make much more sense. Maybe Folklore is even closer.

I think it's a really good lineup, provided a lot of the localizations occur, but what I like about handhelds are all of the Japanese games anyway. If I wanted a big name console port box I'd just buy a good laptop :p

Still just Gravity Rush for me, although a portable LBP game is kinda tempting.

Certainly a better lineup than the 3DS had, but that's not saying much. It'll be interesting to see how it looks a year from now.

Seriously just have them all. The more games this platform gets the better. Even touch screen games that I really hate, put it on the Vita as well.

It's going to suck waiting more then a month for Disgaea 3 portable.

It all comes down to taste, so I can understand when people aren't interested in the list much.

But I look at that first post, and my wallet just hurts. Jesus.

I tested the Lord of Apocalypse Japanese demo and while it's not anything historically amazing, have to admit I would buy it at full price. Ragnarok was okay aswell, but I'd really like to see Apocalypse brought here asap. Got some mild PSO vibes from it, personally. Would import, but it's got a little too much text.

All games should keep in mind what they are on console like game don't do well on hand holds, They not the same as consoles, You sit down for hours "eg MGS4 cut scene would be a crazy idea for a hand hold"

Take Zelda handhold's (not the remake) they top down unlike the console Zelda's they play to the strength of the media they on you can have IP of game but you have to change them for a the media of being a handhold game

Great list, not sure if its a list that will sell but its definitely a list that would make me buy the system. Hope most of these are released by the years end so I can buy the system and not experience a drought for a while.

Screw this, I don't want a dumbed down experience just because I'm playing on the go.
