I was afraid Sound Shapes was a $40 retail game since Gamestop and others had it up for pre-order. Now it's back on my radar!

I bought Valkyria Chronicles II on sale off the PS store a couple months ago but haven't played it yet on my PSP.

Now, I just purchased a Vita.

Can I download it off the store and play it on my Vita, or is it one of those games that I need a PS3 to transfer the game to my Vita?

You still need to use a PS3 to transfer it, unfortunately.

Man, only a couple more hours until we know what's up with the Vita's future. I hope Sony really knows what they are doing and have an awesome showing with some good surprises.

I loved Tactics Ogre. Such an amazing game. But listen to me, do not use filtering: the game is pretty much pixel-based, the bilinear filtering ruins the sprites a bit.
Bilinear filtering OFF with [] + ↓ when in battle = godlike.

It took me some hours to get used to the mechanics, but then I played for something like 50+ hours without troubles. The only thing I didn't like in the game was being unable to check the stats when buying new weapons/armors, but other than that it is probably the best PSP game I played
after TitS.

I just can't stand the way the text looks without it. It's so blocky and mangled (=_=;)

Where are The 1party games?
What about 3rd Party - like a RE if necesary a port of The ds Game

Iam a sad Vita Owner right now. Iam really considering reselling it ...

So do you think we get some j-Love at least? Or why is The famitsu Doing a weekly vita magazin with no games :( !?

Nope, the time frame remains nebulous. It's embarrassing. I mean, rather than announcing a release date for the YouTube app, they simply pointed out that they had announced a YouTube app for Vita.

It's a long shot, but I hope some reporter corners Tretton and ask him where the hell was the Vita games in that sorry excuse of a press conference.

They couldn't even bother to throw together a quickie montage.

Yay at PSOne support - Boo at the lack of game announcements and PS+ still not coming to vita.

What are Sony doing? I just don't understand it, their console side is as strong as ever but they have seemingly abandoned the vita.

What is baffling me is what kind of reason is holding them back, I mean, unless they're making a whole new emulation system that upscales godly the PSX assets...
This late release could be excusable If it was PS2 emulation.

Honestly i'm suprised they didn't show more - even if they lacked their own games I'm sure Atlus would be very happy to be invited to present some P4 or Ragnarok stuff during Sony conference.

And not even a trailer for Soul Sacrifice ?

Guys I don't think there's even enough content yet on vita to warrant putting plus on it. The little software that's already there needs to sell as much as possible. :/

Probably but maybe not full PSN+ but adding some price discounts for PSV games for regular plus users would be nice ;)

Summer. I suspect they want to monetize it so even if you've bought PSOne games in the past on PS3/PSP, they might not work due to 'compatibility' issues.

Probably wrong, but there doesn't seem to any other reason for why it's taking so long.

Unfortunately I think you are right. They have set a precedence for it with the Sony Tablet S. All the PSOne games I have bought on PSP/PS3 have to be bought again for that, it is seriously shit, if that is the case they can fuck off. What is the point in a unified online platform if you have re-purchase everything :-(

So all of the PSP digital titles you bought have to be rebought on the Vita? I don't think so.

They also didn't say that we won't get a giant pink frog with each game so we are deffo getting one of those.


I wonder what
if anything
they are going to show at Gamescom and TGS, both much larger portable markets.

Ya, I think I found my second Vita...

Despite the AC bundle it was a disappointing show over all though... besides mentioning PSX support was coming this summer, unveiling a title screen for Vita CoD and showing cross-play with their Smash Bros. clone, what did they Sony us?
