Reks definitely 1upped himself here. Good release, especially considering that its his 2nd this year. I think like Killer Mike he was a guy looking for something to stick with re: subject matter, and it just happened to be social conscious/ issues rap. Statik brought the beats this time too, and they have a lot more of the groove that I always thought his tunes were missing. The hooks have improved a lot too, a lot less "rappity rap" than they were before. He managed to not lose a lot of intensity as well.

EDIT: apparently this isnt produced by Statik at all but Numonics. I knew these beats had too much body.

Also GAF-HOP we fucked up, i dont think ANYONE copped this despite it being by two legends, click to download. The original was on datpiff free but I know none of yall fuck with that terrible shit, so i picked a rapidgator link. Also, its on spotify:



This is super dope, I find it funny that we all copped Large Professor but nobody got on this. Show and AG both still have pretty damn good flows despite being as old as they are and are telling some good stories. If you're one of those guys thirsty for that old school DITC shit. The beats are pretty dope too.

Better this than flabby and sick Prodigy, lol.

So whats Gaf-Hops opinion on the new Nas, and Ross albums? My personal opinion is
Nas-4/5 I am enjoying it so far, a lot better then some recent Lp's
Ross- 1/5 I couldn't even get past the second song, shit sounds so boring and it feels like I have already heard every beat.

Man, I really listened to Hold Me Back for the first time last night riding around.

Bumps in the car but it might be the most blatantly repetitive chorus I've ever heard.

thats openly aggressive. im tired of dudes talking shit to des on some "well sorry i dont listen to ___ and ___" . Sure he could probably just accept that people dont read the thread or pay attention, but you post in here enough to get called on it. And quite frankly I have seen you calling people on their lateness for listening to shit as well. I was just saying that if you dont have the time, thats why the samplers and descriptions are in there. To pick and choose.
