Great. Now I have to start the game from the beginning. Something made my world dissapear, i can still traverse, but I cannot find my way out from that first optional dungeon [that tree guy is the boss]. I dont want to fight him in this state [i can see his siluethe, but its very very hard], and I cant find way out from the water area near him.

Game only works with autosaves, so now... there is no salvation from this.

Download MSI Afterburner. Start the OSD Server and add the Darksiders 2 exe to it. Hit the settings button and tell it to limit the game to 60fps. Then, force Vsync through Inspector. It runs without a hitch for me and I'm forcing 2xSGSSAA.

Hey, remember my post in which I wrote that the game runs terrible? Doing what scitek suggested fixed all of the problems aside from not working v-sync (which I'm now trying to add via the Control Panel). Thank you so much!

Yeah, I think you're right. Then the answer is yes, D3DOverrider works with Afterburner.

I managed to fix all my problems with textures. I turned everything off in Cataslyst.

Are you using any 3rd party hacks/GPU tools or an older driver version? If not try reporting that bug to Vigil/THQ.

Bah, screw it, THQ made me use a VPN to unlock this early on Steam for the first time, when will they get it, different release schedule makes almost no sense for digital releases...

Use RadeonPro, worked fine here.

Forget forcing MSAA in CCC, that always bugs out Darksiders, even the first game. I just used the SMAA Injector.

One thing I noticed, if you pause during dialogue, when you unpause it replays it just in case.

I bought it at GMG, looks like they only gave me the one key. If I try to go the anything relating to the Crucible, it tells me I need to download or buy it. Doesn't show up as DLC in Steam though.

Fucking love the game so far despite all of the technical issues. Music was spot on in a few early key places and it really, really hit me. Pain in the ass that my school term started today, I would be up all night with this game.

Actually an American living in Japan, but I got it to work with a VPN.

Now to put a stop to this screen tearing...do I need to enable triple buffering through Nvidia control panel?

Vsync to stop screen tearing, triple buffering to keep it from dropping straight to 30fps if it's ever anywhere below 60 while vsync'd.

Thanks for this, got to try this before heading to work and the game was silky smooth at 1440p.

What version do you think I should get? Got a 6 GB of RAM, Radeon 5770, and an intel Core i5 processor. I prefer 360 achievements over anything, but if I can run a significantly better looking game I might go for that. Unless of course there are annoying audio/visual bugs.

And for sure it's already looking awesome with some custom AA methods. But we really need to know about that config file, maybe there are some hidden settings that could make the game even more beautiful? Like DoF, additional particles or some similar effects.

I am getting a lot of tearing myself...that's definitely the problem. Goona download RadeonPro and see if it helps.

Just played up until that fire dungeon, and this game is awesome. It's just fun, and I can't put it down. In the second screenshot, you can see enemies fighting each other.

did you use a paid vpn service? all the free ones ive tried doesn't seem to work with steam anymore. it gets stuck at updating when trying to launch.

Most likely they're just slow as hell. Happened to me with Skyrim. It worked after a while.
