That's because the first time you see him, the Lady in Black explains that you're in the depths of hell with the ones who were cast down by God and want to rebel again. She says this as both of them are positioned underneath a goat head.
When you finish the first Kalpa, she straight up says "The fallen angel has bestowed upon you great strength."

Have to say I agree, there seems to be some people In this thread that are getting their curiosity piqued from this announcement. I say the more Megaten fans the better! I just recently gig into the series myself a couple years ago, not trying to be a tool, just was observing the potential new players/questions/ tone of the thread I would put tags.

It's a game where the protagonists align with demons. I'd like to think that person could have figured out the game is not his/her territory quite early on.

Im not upset cuz Lucifer is in the game, hes in almost all the SMT games, im upset at the reveal in SMT3.

Not if but when (especially PAL). At least they get their region locking for free this time.
Atlus has localized almost everything MegaTen-related since SMT3, so I wouldn't worry.

Either way, this will probably get localised, I wouldn't worry.
But I still want EP and Soul Hackers.
They didn't bother with PAL-releases for Strange Journey and up 'til now Persona 4: The Golden. So yeah, people worry for good reason I think.
Japanese release is still too recent to be sure it's not coming.

I wont know for sure until they turn around and I see kohl-rimmed eyes and colorless bottom lips. I will say that few animation houses do my favorite character designers' distinct looks any justice, so this may be why they lack that "look" from what we've seen.

Maniac difficulty level that randomly spans Matadors on you every three hours of gameplay as soon as you can win against him.

Considering their recent track record of announcing these things fast, it's not looking good.
All the recent SMT releases were confirmed before the JP release.
By the time enough people start worrying, it'll be too late.
What that isn't Persona 4-related was confimed before the JP release?

Innocent Sin came out 4/14/11 in Japan. It was announced by Atlus USA on 5/24/11.
Strange Journey came out 10/8/09 in Japan. Atlus USA announced it 11/5/09.
As for Eternal Punishment, I am not expecting it. However, Atlus USA does seem to be a little bit behind since they haven't even announced EO4 yet, and that is most certianly due.

Innocent Sin wasn't. The first teaser came out May 19th, a month after the Japanese release. Confirmation came a few days later, and we didn't get a firm release date until September.

It's a given Atlus will pull those off the web the moment they go up, so if it goes up, best have your finger on that download trigger.
I don't see why anyone would bother with a Vita a this point. I'm not a fanboy of any system, but it's pretty clear to me that the 3ds is where the games are going to be.

DJ MAX is a pretty solid exclusive. It isn't SMT IV or Soul Hackers, but a good system seller.
Buying a system for just one game is ridiculous to me, there need to be at least 10-15 games (either already released or coming soon) I'm interested for me to consider buying a system.
