That happens in IV. If you enter your safe house they'll enter and begin climbing the stairs. If you save it removes the wanted level.I really want a GTA game where you can hide in buildings, and cops enter looking for you. Then you jump out of a building running again.
Would be cool instead of cops being dumb.

not a graphics thing. A game like GTA would be great to show off new technologies, specially in sandbox games. Better AI, more detailed world, etc. We'll just have to wait for 6
Rockstar is good at giving details but not spoiling anything. Look at some of the surprises in San Andreas.lol, i once had piles of dead cops in my safe house. they'd just keep coming and coming until i ran out of grenades and shotgun ammo
edit: 18 pages? woah. that's too much! i don't want to know all the details about the game before playing it.. i guess i have to just not read it. yeah right
I'm probably the Buzz Kilington of this thread but I'd rather have a 60-second trailer than an 18-page pr-approved article.
It's a videogame - show me a video.

True. But we've been in the dark for quite a while. Something is better than nothing. And I think this is the beginning of a steady stream of information.I'm probably the Buzz Kilington of this thread but I'd rather have a 60-second trailer than an 18-page pr-approved article.

Rockstar needs to get the "Controls while out of car aren't crap" technology down before it works on anything else :/ Love the games, but damn on foot is clumsy.
Trailers are PR approved too.I'm probably the Buzz Kilington of this thread but I'd rather have a 60-second trailer than an 18-page pr-approved article.

Can you vouch for that?
I already asked you through PM, but how do you know all this? Or in other words: who are you?
Trailer 2 released before article
18 pages - 6 pages per city
Maybe they'll release a trailer Nov 2. It would be exactly a year since the first trailer. Doubt it, though. My guess is the GI spread will be the last we hear about the game until 2013.
We'll get Trailer #2 at the end of January.
Yeah, i figured it was around that number.Urban, if you search for 'NeoSeeker Forums GTA IV Scans' on Google it's all still there miraculously. It's about 8 pages. (I would post the link, but I don't know if it's allowed to link to scans even if they're from the past. I don't wanna get banned )
But indeed, 18 pages. Oh my god. Can't wait to check this out!!!! Nice to see that they can't wait to share the info November 8th is so far away, yuck!
First the October 2013 release date, now this.My guess is the GI spread will be the last we hear about the game until 2013.

How much did the preview cost, I imagine? A 10/10? Or maybe GI acted tough and got away with a 9.5/10?

Really? I thought IV had a fantastic radio. It didn't have the nostalgia factor or a well known era of music to rally around like Vice City and San Andreas did, but I think it still had a nice variety of good music, both expected and completely unexpected.Just hope GTAV gets a better music themes fo the RADIO stations. GTA4 radio was crap
Just hope GTAV gets a better music themes fo the RADIO stations. GTA4 radio was crap, hate to compare but Saints Row 2 music was so much better , in fact SR2 felt better in overall.
Haha, it all depends on the release date.First the October 2013 release date, now this.
Dude...
Could be!My guess: Trailer #2 at the VGAs.

I would love to see county areas an small towns as San Andreas , being inside a city all time ( no matter how huge it is ) feels repetitive.
If I'm correct Dan and Lazlow wrote all the stations together in IV. I only listen to Integrity 2.0, WKTT, and LRR. I still think Vice City had the best stations. And I always love Lazlow.Yeah the music was the worst of any GTA game by far. I don't know if it's because 4 was set in modern times so most of the music was relatively recent or they just had shit taste for this game but it definitely needs an improvement.
Yep, they do. From Rockstar's website:If I'm correct Dan and Lazlow wrote all the stations together in IV. I only listen to Integrity 2.0, WKTT, and LRR. I still think Vice City had the best stations. And I always love Lazlow.
Yeah ever since San Andreas they started the whole multiple shows per talk station. I prefer Lazlow when he has one station to himself. He's like a staple to the franchise now. I liked that they gave him back an entire station in IV. Still, not as good as Chatterbox FM in GTA 3.Yep, they do. From Rockstar's website:
"All radio and TV stations, commercials, DJ dialogue, jingles and station imaging written by Dan Houser and Lazlow".
I will always be impressed by that. There's so much stuff in there, it's crazy that they write all of that. And that's not even touching on the main plot or the side missions.
I thought the talk stations were pretty good. Not the absolute best of the series, but a lot of it was funny. I loved the two station setup, one super liberal and one super conservative. Perfect reflection of the split in American media and politics :lol
Integrity 2.0 wasn't bad, but I think overall I enjoy Lazlow in the series more when he has a studio show. His longer interviews that they come up with are hilarious. I prefer those over the shorter "on the street" material on Integrity 2.0.
What have I been wrong about?
