I haven't gotten a code for the theme yet, but I don't think it's good enough to warrant changing my dynamic Shadow of the Colossus theme.

I think Nariko was one of the best written protagonists in gaming this gen, and Andy Serkis fricking KILLED it as Bohan. One of my favorite antagonists of this generation as well. He was so awesome. Her characterization was excellent, and only Uncharted has managed to draw me into the characters as much as HS did. Kai is also an amazing character. I can't imagine what her, Drake, Sully, and Nariko would be like on an adventure together. That's why All Stars has the potential to be really, really fun in the story department in later games. I'd love a sequel to have an even more fleshed out story mode, perhaps incorporating more cinematics with all of the roster interacting with each other, and not just their rivals. I want to see Cole and Sly interacting with each other, with maybe Sly wondering why Cole has a Sly family crest on his backpack. Lol.

I actually beat Heavenly Sword in 8 hours my first playthrough, so I never felt the "GAWD, this game is so short!" complaint. My second playthrough was shorter (about 5 hours), and my third was another 8, because I was restarting chapters to collect all of the medals for performance.

I really liked the combat system, and, to me, it was one of the first battle systems of this generation that was counter heavy, much like the AC games, and the Batman: Arkham games. Sure, it's not as fluid as the Arkham games, but I felt like a boss countering wave after wave of enemies and ruining their shit. Nariko was a God tier character, that got shafted by the "Great PS3 Hate Wave of 2006-2007."

I will champion the fuck out of Heavenly Sword and Folklore until the day I die. Two of my favorite new IPs this generation next to Uncharted and inFAMOUS (although you can add the Batman: Arkham and AssCreed series to that list as well).

Speaking of Batman, I'd love to see him in PS All Stars. Lol. He could have a really, really interesting fighting style that's all about countering enemy attacks, instead of just rushing in there and pummeling folks for AP (although he could do that too). Of course, licensing Batman would no doubt cost a shit ton of money, sadly.

same about Uncharted, Folklore and inFamous(well, until they butchered the story in two).

Really hope Keats is considered as a playable character in PSASBR2 if they make it (like his moveset version a lot more than Ellen's).

Hahaha, that's a shame. Not saying Wonderbook is a bad thing, wonderful idea for kids, as a kid I'd have loved one, but yeah, not very cool for any other demographic.

I loved the story in inFAMOUS 2. LOL. I thought Cole and Zeke were infinitely likable characters, and I really like Nix and Kuo, just wish they had done more with them. Even so, the gameplay of inFAMOUS 2 was leaps and bounds better than the first, and I adored the first one.

I'm really, really hoping we get an inFAMOUS 3, and an inFAMOUS Vita title in the future.

EDIT: I'm championing Ellen for PBR2 for more female representation. I want Tati (for dat boob jiggle demographic. lol) Jen Tate, Ellen, Jeanne d'Arc, and Monica or Kisalla.

On the third party front, I'd love to see Lightning, Tifa Lockhart, or Vivi for some FF representation. Old/Solid Snake/Big Boss or The Boss for MGS representation, and Lara Croft for Tomb Raider. I wouldn't mind seeing Leon or Chris and Jill for some RE representation. Thrown in Amaterasu or Viewtiful Joe, and it'd hit all of my third party sweet spots. That'd be a shit ton of licensing deals, though...

I actually hope that the few remaining unleaked things remain unleaked. Stuff like the remaining alt costumes and the rest of the rival cutscenes.

I'll try my hardest to avoid those things until next Tuesday.

So don't want to sound like a douche but is Sony going to at least market this game? It's out in about a week and I don't feel any excitement over this game.
I'm definitely picking it up for the couch play and cross buy but I need some people to play with.

Just a heads-up to those in the Los Angeles area... GamePlay in Culver City, an independent game store that routinely breaks street dates, might be getting PSASBR in as early as Friday. When I called them about it earlier today, that's what they told me. I've gotten other Tuesday release games from them before on the preceding Friday (including Mario Kart 7 and Final Fantasy XIII-2), so it's quite possible that they actually will get PSASBR in on Friday.

Either way, if you plan on trying to get it there on Friday, call them first to make sure they actually got it in. I'll be calling them as well, so I'll post here and let you guys know if it's a go.

They also said that if they don't have it on Friday, they probably will on Monday, so yeah.

Well I think i'll be buying this game twice.
Won't have my PS3 for awhile so I'll play it on my vita.
but I'll have to buy the PS3 version so me and my friends can play when I go back home for the holidays.

Was bummed at first but hell more sales for Sony is a good thing.
