See, this is what I hate about East Euro devs. I mean, she's clearly looking at a fairly bright light yet her pupil is so dilated she might as well be in a dark room, this is basic attention to detail that East Euro devs constantly miss. I don't know if it's just due to laziness, incompetence or lack of budget but unless I see her taking some mydriatics in the trailer, I'll continue to watch these games from the sidelines.

That is only one of the numerous sets of eyes you can see in the game. Depending on choices you make, there are entire sets of eyes you won't ever even see on a single playthrough of Cyberpunk.

It can't be in-engine because it doesn't have awful dithering everywhere.

There is simply NOTHING even remotely close to it, even on PC at max settings.
I don't think it's real, but hey.

And yeah, Luminous (a TECH DEMO, mind you) is close, but still not quite there yet, so.. i'm gonna stick with cgi.

Infact, i admit i'm surprised the contrary it's even suggested, when i saw the image on AllGamesBeta i just assumed it was pre-rendered.
Either i'm underestimating next gen (in which case, it'll be the sweetest crow eating) or people are bathing in its frenzy.

Maybe she has some kind of eye augmentation that allows her to look into light

And you are crazy if a single picture of eyes is enough for you to judge how much detail a game has. Not only that, but Witcher 2's existence is proving you wrong.

Most PC games are simply current gen console ports with high res etc. I believe this is a completely devoted next gen project (Cyberpunk 2077). Crysis 3 isn't even a 100% next gen project.

Lol, has this become a meme? I've seen this been said a lot of the times.

It may be a meme at this point, but there's no denying the facts. The Witcher 2's visuals suffered a pretty big setback from the awful shadow dithering. I thought something was wrong with my graphics card when I was playing the game but nope, that's just how it works.

Buuuut if it was on PC (like this game is) it could, right? right?

probably CGI, but a man's gotta dream

I have a decent gaming PC, not the best ever, but my GTX580 can still run most games at high/max settings with a decent framerate, and i've seen nothing even remotely close to that render.
Not The Witcher 2, not any other AAAA game.

Well The Witcher 2 wasn't exactly console friendly, since the port came later on.
And again, this is looking better than Agni's Philosophy, which is a techdemo without even defined specifications in mind so far.
I don't see this being realistic.
At the very least it can be a cinematic in-engine, but not in-game (kind of like the absurd Last of Us cutscenes).

But, as i said above: would be super happy to eat this crow.

Progres ?

Both consoles from 2005 and 2006 doing amazing things with faces (halo4, Last of Us, Cage game).

It's only natural if someone will deliver something like that in 2015.

IQ is always debatable but all other skin eyes etc can be achieved even right now.

2006 Crysis:

It's more like no one cared about faces rather than hardware problems.

You do that, I'll just continue playing some of the best games out there.

Yeah, and it's still years away. I wouldn't be surprised if what we're going to see is their version of agni's philosophy (meaning the new version of Redengine).

Why is this in this thread?
Seriously. why?
We are talking about games here. A specific game. Not an interactive movie from some other company.

Also... obvious CGI trailer guys. Let us be real

Interactive movie or no, it is doable on 6 year old hardware. By the time this game hits, the next gen systems will either be here or getting ready to come out. Bearing in mind that this game is doing the PC thing for now, it's more than possible to pull off highly impressive faces with the tech we have.

However, there's no way this teaser is not going to be CG.

You guys seem very convinced. I am not... It would be a huge leap if we could simulate the fluids for the eye now.

Beyond: Two Souls will probably be an interactive/cinematic game like Heavy Rain - Cyberpunk 2077 will be way more dynamic and probably CPU-intensive than Beyond.

The comparison isn't exactly fair..

That is not true. Game is a game. Are God of War games interactive movies simply because we can not directly control the camera, game is linear and there are QTEs? Phhhlease, I can always enter into a fight because of this. :D

Its better to continue talking about C2077. :)

If I ever post something in Japanese which I don't understand, please BAN me.

RED engine is all about streaming. So this may be lod used in very close range.

Lol, do you really believe that is in-game graphics?

Yes. In game for Cyberpunk2077 in 2015 even on bigger scale.

It doesn't look bright, just look at her face colour, the pupils look perfect IMO.

Sorry but this is the most moronic comment of 2013. It will probably stay that for the rest of the year

Man, my eyes must be terrible as I never noticed any of that.

Can we refrain from using Beyond Two Souls as a comparison. Cyberpunk will have way way more gameplay possibilities then that, it will have crazy amounts of depth as well. beyond will be like HR, all QTEs.

Oh shit just saw this comment. Lol! He is clearly joking ( I hope... ).

So this game isn't even scheduled to come out for another 2+ years? Why are we even talking about it? These hype cycles are getting out of hand

Actually, no.

Games are in the works secretly until the last year or even less of dev : then they are announced and already in really good (near final form) so perfectly ready to be promoted.

Games used to be announced when a licence was acquiered 10 years ago or even 15 years ago and you could follow the entire developpement through the press
