My man. Although on subsequent playthroughs I ditch it when I've built a decent team because it starts showing its uselessness as the game goes on.

I kept it around because I got attached to it. I tend to have more than 6 pokemon I use reguarly so it gets stuck in my PC a lot at the later parts but I never quite ditch it.

Nah. In HG and SS, if you bring over an Arceus and go to the ruins just off the first or second path, you can have a level 5 Dialga, Girantina, or Palkia as a "starter".

That's what I've done for every Pokemon game except for Gold/Silver back in 2000. I'm currently playing Black 2 with knowing nearly nothing about it before hand. X/Y are already the most I've indulged in pre-launch Pokemon hype, haha.

I hope they do this, it was always cool in the console games to see how obscenely large some of them were.

Someone should go through the trailer and compare the sizes of the pokemon in it to their official heights.
