Manager (Ronnie) said that the stock has been depleted and all they could do was give me 20 bucks

The "in process" part of the site also means that's in process to be cancelled and any charges on my card will be reversed.

I'm so confused?

This is what I'm afraid of. I'm tempted to just e-mail Namco and implore them to switch distribution services because they shouldn't want their name tied to Digital River. I don't think DR is actually going to give a shit, but their handling of this was extremely poor.

I put my order number in the reference tracker on UPS's site, and it says a label has been created. Weird that it didn't actually ship yet considering when I ordered.

Weird that they have an email like that going out too.

And interesting that he would come before the people whose money they have already taken- PayPal people. Not that I have a problem with that if he actually ordered first, but they are incompetent, so I'm surprised.

I'm the same [ordered last August]. No email shipping confirmation either, although my city is listed as is the weight [under the UPS tracking information]. -_-

This whole thing has me extremely nervous and has me checking my email every minute or so. There's no excuse for this at all.

My order also changed from "Label Created" to "In Transit" in the last hour or so. (Ordered July 2nd)

Maybe the next step after fake cancellation emails is that we'll open the packages and they'll all be LE copies of Dark Souls =_=

I ordered in the batch 1-17. They are getting the same thing we are answers are all over the place, yes they have it, no they don't. Blah blah

If I had to guess, the only ones who are getting a confirmation order and their order shipped are those of us who purchased within, quite literally, 5 days of it going up.

So far it sounds like everyone that ordered on the "restock" has gotten this email and only us.

I'm hoping this is just a giant screw up and we all wake up tomorrow with shipped emails.

By new orders do you mean the orders placed today or during 1-17?

I ordered on the 17th using PayPal but haven't received a shipping confirmation or cancelation yet.

Looking back through my email records, I see my last communcation with Digital River was when they oversold the hell out of boxed copies of Mega Man IX five years ago, my order was canceled without any notice and I spent the next few days haggling with Direct River to get them to refund my PayPal account.

Christ, why does ANYONE hire these guys?

I'm just upset. Plain and simple. I ordered on 1/17 as fast as I could and have been waiting ever since. Now I get a cancellation email and am apparently shit outta luck. Looks like zero options, too.

Guess I'm off to bestbuy to pick this shit up along with my CE guide

I have the earliest feasible order time, apparently (9:59), and even though I do have a shipping label printed and no cancellation email, I still expect my order to be cancelled, since the pending charge on my card has disappeared.

Seems like a complete clusterfuck, really.

My UPS tracker says the label has been created but its not in transit yet. I'll check it again in the morning I guess.

So on the restock they had like 5 copies to go up apparently. I ordered within 3 minutes of it going up on 1-17 I was F5ing and had my credit card saved in their system ready for check out. If my order is truly cancelled oh well at this point fuck me.

Hopefully namco ends up getting enough complaints that they seriously consider finding a new shipping company to use for there website.

Pending charges DO disappear for a bit before they're put under cleared charges. Though no, with Digital River making a clusterfuck of things it's not reassuring.
It is pretty bad that I actually feel lucky that I will have my wizard edition tommorow considering it is still a day later then what I paid for.

Hopefully namco ends up getting enough complaints that they seriously consider finding a new shipping company to use for there website.
Hopefully enough companies see these problems crop up and switch, so that DR either steps their game up or just goes out of business. I'd feel bad about that if it seemed like they actually had more then 3 people doing everything in the middle of Tennessee.
 
Just to sum up my experience (if it is at all helpful to others):

Ordered the 17th actually a minute or two before the scheduled time, pretty much the moment the order button went up.

Got a shipping confirmation today.

UPS said Label Created, then switched over to In Transit and is set to show up tomorrow.

Haven't received any emails from NB past my shipping confirmation.

The order went up at like 9:55am PST...(or maybe a minute or two after) so it's weird to think anyone who got in there in the first 5 mins or so doesn't have a WE.

It really does seem like they only had 5 copies available.
