Ok so I hate to be a noob but after screen caps of the tweets where it says online passes are separate content there are a few people saying 'looks like they are miss-informed'

So can someone just give a nice clear-cut answer, preferably someone who purchased the game from the sale (has managed to get it downloaded by now with the slow server speeds) and can see for themselves if it is included or not?

TTT2 is the last game I am thinking of getting, my second issue with is is there are VERY mixed reviews about the game, but being someone who has played all the tekken games and was not too wrapped in the first TTT I am not sure especially since from what I hear this does not have a real story mode, just almost like an extended tutorial in the moves with certain moves that need to be carried out to progress surrounded by a story about a guy whos training his bot to fight?!

It does have ALOT of characters though, even a few more then Tekken 6 by the looks of things..so that's a positive!

Any advice?

anyone whos intrested I ended up with:

Black Opps : 480MSP
Max Pain 3 : 320MSP
Mortal Kombat Vs. DC : 320MSP
Batman Arkham Asylum : 600MSP

Is it possible that some games just have their online play unlocked a certain period past release?

I thought GoD files were just images of the disks and so it wouldn't be possible to "include" an online pass. I guess we'd need someone with a disk of TTT2 who hadn't redeemed their code to verify whether it worked online.

Thanks, must of missed that the amount of posts on this thread is at an insane rate...

Spending 600MSP more to get TTT2 is getting tempting...but still would like some feedback on the actual game itself mainly on the issues I mentioned above?

Thanks to who can provide it!

They need to let Xbox support know as I'm getting nowhere with my tweets.

They need to let Xbox support know as I'm getting nowhere with my tweets.

Is this because you want them to tell you it comes with an online pass before you purchase?

Or have you purchased and then not had the online pass and your telling them other people to so they should give you one ? :S

If it was the first one, I would not worry, people on here are saying you get it, if you want a backup from Microsoft in case you don't get one upon purchasing then I would use an E-Mail not a tweet, but good luck getting a reply in time before the sale is over?

Not affected any of my purchases but I'd like to know for future reference. Calling the online passes optional is ridiculous.

If anything, this sale underlines how much MS Japan is not even trying anymore.
Not that I don't understand why. But still.

Here's what we've had so far:

Halo 3, Reach, Wars for ¥700 ($7.50) each
Halo 4 for ¥3600 ($38.50)
Dirt 2 and GRID for ¥1200 ($12.50) each
Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon for ¥210 ($2.25) each
Virtua Fighter 5 for ¥700 ($7.50)
Batman Arkham City and Portal 2 for ¥1200 ($12.50)
Biohazard Operation Raccoon City for ¥2600 ($28)

And today, it's Metal Gear HD, Peace Walker, Kof XIII and Tekken Tag Tournament 2, for ¥2600 ($28) each.

Aaaand yes, this is it.

Bought Halo 3 and Reach.
The rest of these items are either cheaper new on Amazon, or way cheaper used basically anywhere.

Except maybe for Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon, But I'm not tempted.

Any of the Left4Dead addon content worth it? Will mostly play local splitscreen i that makes a diff

The Passing is a pretty short map, but the levels are well designed.

The Sacrifice is nice only if you've played L4D1, and it adds one of L4D1's maps (No Mercy)

Cold Stream contains 1 so-so user created map, and L4D1's second campaign (Death Toll)

For content, The Sacrifice wins. No Mercy remains the most-played and best L4D campaign, in my opinion. Cold Stream I feel is extremely lazy to push as a full content pack.

I got myself:

Bioshock
Metal Gear Solid 2+3 HD
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD
Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition

For a total of €31.

TIME TO EDIT THAT BACKLOGGERY

Just played a TTT2 online match. I got my shit wrecked in the name of science and confirming that Xbox support don't know their ass from their elbow.

But what do you expect from a bunch of drunks who forgot there was a sale to update on Sunday?

I went a little overboard

Dirt 2
GRID
Dark Messiah
Darkness
Arkham Casylum
Arkham City
The Orange Box
Max Payne 3
Rainbow Six Vegas
Halo Wars
Resident Evil 6
Fallout 3
Fallout New Vegas
Portal 2
Mortal Kombat vs DCU
Tekken Tag Tournament 2
Left 4 Dead 2
Metal Gear Solid HD
MGS: Peacewalker

Giving serious thought to Civilization Revolution too.

It was hard to resist, some pretty fantastic deals to be had. I hope this is just the start of what they have to offer in terms of sales promotions.

Cold Stream adds all the L4D1 maps except for No Mercy which is in another pack.

So, SSFIV:AE. Worth $10?

I haven't really played a Street Fighter game since SF2 back in the arcade days but I've got an itch...

Yes. A steal for $10.

Also, those Xbox live twitter reps, are the very first line of "support" meant to weed out the easy/dumb questions the real support people get over and over. I simply would not trust anything they say. I doubt they get much training at all. From the little I've dealt with them any random board member is more knowledgeable than they are.

What's the file size on MGS 2&3? Having owned a 360 since launch the years of DLC, live arcade games, Rock Band/GH songs and installed games that I'm currently playing I somehow have very little space on my 250GB hdd :(

Can't really blame MS for that though. I don't think EA would like if the online passes were listed as mandatory.

That would make some of these "deals" not even deals then when you factor in the cost of the online passes. Also bodes well for the possibility of a consoles' digital-only future.

Not looking to get anything today. My final haul is:

Bioshock
El Shaddai
Fallout New Vegas
Red Dead Redemption
Orange Box
Left 4 Dead 2

I will be busy for this year. Nice sale MS.

TTT 2 is incredible, the graphics are crisp and popping! Gameplay is smooth and fast.

And the music is freaking great, best I've heard of all the fighting games this generation.

840 MS points is really a steal! :)

I'm defo going to have to dip into some LTTP threads after I get Tomb Raider and SimCity out of the way.

Would be nice to have a What Did you get thread like the post steam threads tomorrow too.
I think I've got everything I wanted, didn't expect to get anywhere near as much.
