Been waiting for UMvsC3 to go on sale digitally so picking that up. Would have loved to seen Lumines and NLKS up there. Going to get a $50 card and pick up one more game on sale and the Star Wars pinball pack.

Debating between Dynasty Warriors and Lego LoTR.

So which of these are worth buying?

Blazblue, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Street Fighter x Tekken, Sine Mora, and (though I personally don't like it nearly as much as others do) Dokuro.

Add Pure Chess to it, and your list looks good. Although Knytt would still probably be up for debate.

I am confused Wild Arms is still listed at 5.99 in the store, what gives?

edit: I am a moron and should learn to read "The promotion starts tomorrow and runs through March 11th"

To continue the celebration this week, we’re pleased to offer a special gift for PS Vita owners—by giving away four classic games for free exclusively in the PlayStation Vita Store! The promotion starts tomorrow and runs through March 11th.

I assume the price will change to "free" when the store update goes live.

fixed. And POSSIBLY Big Sky Infinity. It's not too bad. And some people like Knytt Underground. I haven't played it.

Lego Batman 2 is not a 3DS port?

Is unit 13 any good? Worth $13 before this week's sale closes out tomorrow?

I'd give it a 7/10. There's nothing memorable about it but it's the best shooter that is currently available for the Vita.

The missions got repetitive about 1/3 through the game. Although compared to the short demo of Resistance: Burning Skies I played, Unit 13 is a MUCH better shooter. The best part about Unit 13 is the co-op. If you can find someone (which shouldn't be to hard in these forums) then you'll have some fun.

I don't quite know the individual's name, but there's a member here who is a huge advocate of Unit 13. I think the person's name is AgentOtaku. Last time I saw him post, he had an avatar with blue hair...I think... in any case, he has a more comprehensive knowledge about the game than I do.

For $13 I say go for it. I doubt it's going to get any lower until Killzone Mercenary comes out.

Edit: If you do get and need help getting the multi-player platinum trophies. Just ask anyone here. The people in the Vita threads are super helpful and I got my Unit 13 platinum in a heartbeat!

What about Retro City Rampage? I'm one of the few that didn't have Plus when it was free. I heard a lot of negative things about it for the PC version, but I wasn't sure if it might be more suited for the Vita anyways.

Unit 13 is great..often gets compared to The Club.

There's a demo on the store btw. Try it out. I played the demo about 5 times before I finally pulled the trigger because I enjoyed it that much. Protip: Turn the sensitivity all the way up.

I'm still at that stage, I keep replaying the demo which is great fun but haven't bought the game yet coz my backlog is too big.

This is why we need 64gb cards. I hate buying a game on sale then realize I need to delete several others to download it.

oops. I was hoping it to be like Odin Sphere or something.

so I guess just Dokuro and Sine Mora?

was thinking of Big Sky and Kyntt actually. and DW: Next

Dokuro, yes. Sine Mora, Yes. Big Sky, no (except you just want to relax. Its really a bad "shmup" however, and feels more like a flash upgrade game). DW if you like DW games. And the jury is still out on Knytt.

I had mixed feelings about it (stupidly bought it before it was free on Plus due to hype). The soundtrack is phenomenal, some really great tunes for driving around. The jokes and parodies were pretty good most of the time, but I disliked when the story stopped being wacky random stuff and turned into a rant about big bad video game publishers vs. indie devs. There were also some really annoying difficulty spikes like a certain Biffman stealth mission and one of the final bosses.

Fortunately, there appears to have been a patch released that fixed some problems (including the difficulty spikes I listed above) so I might go back and play it soon to see if I enjoy it more... Anyways, at $7.34 you can't really go wrong if you want a funny GTA-style game.

NA store can be accessed through the Vita now but the game aren't showing up as free, what gives??

The store hasn't updated yet, so you can't get the free games or the new set of discounted games until then. It updates on Tuesday afternoons/evenings (PT/ET) normally. For now, the first week of Vita sales are still in effect.

Store hasn't updated, again: Slow your roll and wait since you're waiting for Endgame anyway, bro.

Right now it's looking like I'll just get Dokuro, the 4 free games, and possibly Pure Chess. Is there an online component of Pure Chess or just you vs. the CPU?

I just got in from work, sorry if this has already been answered.

Are these games ready for free download now? Or are we waiting on Grace Chen to update?

Holy shit. Seems stupid but... Can I download this to some account and transfer later to vita?

I don't have one yet, but THAT Wild Arms...

The free games seem like they'll be available only through the Vita store, so I don't think you can buy on the web/PS3 and save for later.

Nope, it's in-store only. No PS3 store or webstore.

Poo, I wanted to use the PS Plus trial from Amazon to get the PS Plus price but they require a credit card. Oh well. Will still pick up Dokuro but kind of wanted to grab Sine Mora as well.
