Nier was maybe the only bright spot of SE japanese game lineup coming out this gen. Hyped for this game.
It's just nuts they chose to revive this franchise. I'm not complaining at all. Just shocked and awed. The best news I've heard from the SE camp in years.

I'd say this confirms the opposite. Games like that don't often fly well in Japan, excuse the pun. I think it's a sign this was more western geared.

You're right! I forgot stuff like this gets cut down in Japan all the time. I mean, this is definitely sounding like a CERO Z.
