PJM is probably going to be the most popular. I also enjoyed Savage Moon Hera Campaign for a more sci fi TD game.

just because it's 3 years old doesn't make it inferior to new stuff, though I suppose you might have already played it.
I know sanctum 2 is coming to the PSN but i think that is just coming to the ps3 and not vita.
Defenders quest while awesome likely won't make it onto consoles...
hmmm I am running out of tower defense games I actually consider good off the top of my head lol

Appreciate it though... keep the suggestions coming -- Vita first, of course, but PS3 would be fine too.

Got over the $100 hump for the $20 April credit by buying some more DOA5+ DLC and Dracula X Chronicles. Can't ever have too much SOTN I guess.

Did you beat Plants vs Zombies already? It's a different form of Tower Defense but I really love it.
I think something like pixel junk is just fine... I can't think of any real benefit for adding touch controls to tower defense... and no meaningful benefit for the camera or gyro... though of course in general I dislike touch controls so that might be part of it lol.

DOA5+ has an impressively lengthy story mode, and infinite replay value through its robust multiplayer options.

You sure? Because mine came with a manual like all titles do in the Live Area.
Only PSP titles have been hit and miss with manuals. Like Guilty Gear: XX: Accent Core PSP doesn't.

I call it a "grind treadmill" because that's what it is. You can grind and grind and grind and grind and grind and... as much as you want. But eventually you tire of it and slide off the grind-treadmill only to bang your head on the grind-treadmill that is Disgaea 2/3/4/eventual 5 after the first one.
Anyway the presentation is pretty awesome. It looks SIGNIFICANTLY better here than the PS3's pixely version. I don't recall being able to change the window colors/backgrounds but changing it to black background/white text has made the game more enjoyable for me since it's easier on the eyes than brighter colors.
The new(?) view mode that is top-down grid-based-view is AWESOME. Really makes the game feel like Tactics Ogre/FFT at times now.
Zulux: What is Homeroom Teacher's ability and how can I view it? I mean am I supposed to just know after passing the proposal through the Reps? (I know the one I got is "steals Mana from adjacent members using that while having Mao being the only mana steal clubber in my homeroom to boost his HL so I can boost his skills quickly) I can't seem to check it in the homeroom since it'll just go to talking to him.
Also what is the point of the seat-names? Like "nerd seat" I positioned Mao and a few others from the front around Mao so Mao has a good chance of getting a 4-ally attack going (while using mages to build combos) but I'm not sure if that's a good thing if nerd changes stats or whatever.
Wow, what the hell? I guess Canada(?)/Mexico(?)'s store-items are different from the US. WTF is this shit, Sony? Manuals should be included in ALL digital items going forward from the launch of this system. It's bullshit that the PSP Go didn't mandate this. Yes, it may take up a few more MB but for the sake of people being able to thumb through it it's a net benefit.

the point of the seat names is to be funny, as far as I (and i just double checked on the internet) knows they don't do anything.
as for what the teachers do I had to look it up and I am not sure if you are able to view it, or if this is one of those things disgaea fans just figured out, but anyways the list is here
my counter point that is likely late is totori comes with free dlc right now and isn't likely to get a sale or go on ps+, doa5+ is likely to go on plus at some point especially if you live in NA where they seem to adore fighters, and has a physical version that can go on sale and potentially push the digital price down as well.

It's the only cell phone game worth a shit. Tried the 360 demo a while back & thought it was lame. When I got it free for Vita on PS+ I realised its greatness. The touch screen is the only way to play.
I lied I like one other tower defense, South Park on 360 pretty good not great. PvZ deserves all of it's praise.

you do on the ps3.. but when I installed uncharted vita on my 4gb memory card it was quickly apparent you didn't need double the space.
Ah good. This was the first time I had to think about it since I always had plenty of space.
And yeah, good point with 4gb cards.
A lot of games could never be installed if so!
