Anyone else having trouble connecting to the store? I'm having trouble on both my Vita and the web store.

Can't even remove D3 from my cart.

Was just wondering if it was me! Can't connect on my Vita to the Store despite PSN Aplarantly being fine, and the Internet connection test being a-okay too.

And... Finished Hard Mode Ninja Gaiden Sigma+. had to resort to ninpo cheese in the end but meh, passed it. That fight seems a lot easier with 60FPS since I kept screwing up timing now and then.

:lol They threw Itagaki under the bus with the Sigma(+) credits. No mention of him but Hayashit as the producer and copyright 2007 instead of 2003.

SMT: Persona - 9,99
SMT: Persona 2: Innocent Sin - 14,99
SMT: Persona 2: Eternal Punishment - 9,99
Nun Attack - 2,99 (reaaaally fun for 3 bucks)

Damn it. I overwrote my save with the cloud-backup from a few weeks ago. At least it's at chapter 17 but still. FUCK.

*anger* and this is why I hate cloud saves and wish they'd just keep the save instead of deleting it when I delete the "app"/game to make room on the card. Fucking Sony. :|

If I were to claim Hots Shots Tennis as one of my favorite games ever, chiefly because of the addictive as hell gameplay, would y'all think I'd like VT4? I've been watching this game for a while, waiting for a sale to pull the trigger.

Wow dude that is pretty awesome. You got a good amount of great games/DCL as well.

Wow, decided to play Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken today since I beat Stranger's Wrath last night, and wow is it the looker. Really love the look of this game and the tilt of the system to move the background is ace. I can tell this is going to be a relatively short game but the pace of it is really nice. Really nice game. I got it for $5.99 but it is well worth the regular price.

Now in exchange for my Rocketbirds impressions I await some Escape Vektor impressions.-

Virtual Tennis is a bit less arcadey than Hot Shots Tennis, but completely accessible, and pretty addicting. It's got a pretty meaty career mode, and a lot of mini-games.

As someone who loved earlier VT games I find the career mode and lack of upgrading your character outside of the styles to be incredibly disappointing.

Need to spend $28.15 more to hit $200 and claim my 40 bucks, what do people recommend? What I've gotten this month:

PS+ 15 months
Unit 13 (Meh)
Smart As (Awesome!)
Motostorm RC (Fun til it gets ridiculously hard and falls apart)
Total Chess (Awesome!)
UMVC3 (Meh)
Dynasty Warriors Next (Meh, I really need to stop trying to like this series)
Hot Shots Golf DLC (Kat is an amazing player!)
Persona 4 Golden (nuff said)
Persona 3 Portable (nuff said)

Pretty sure I'm gonna get Machinarium but on the fence about VT4. Already have Sonic racing on Steam. Help me out?

PS that's $55.82 spent on 'meh' games I would have otherwise traded in or sold. Going all digital has its drawbacks! Lesson learned

I love hot shots golf vita. It gets so hard like Demon's Soul's golf. Does Kat have dusty around her?
Does she speak her odd language.

So Greg Miller said in the latest Playstation Conversation that Zombie Tycoon 2 is a lot of fun. He got a chance to play it at PAX East, and came away impressed. I certainly take most things IGN says with a grain of salt, but it certainly piqued my interest that he was enthusiastic about it.

Awesome!!!! I'm going to have to support this dlc. How many new courses & are they fun/challenging?

Three new courses, they're primarily eye-candy but I enjoy them! Honestly I love the game so much that I'd blindly buy any DLC just to get new content :)

Guys, I need to meet 61 bucks to make 100. Already plan to buy tales of graces f for 35, so I need to spend 26 more. Was thinking of making up the difference by purchasing sly 4. Any other suggestions?

I already have personas 3 and 4, sonic racing and virtua tennis...

Hmm, Persona 2 is still on sale. I love SMT and the Persona series, but I've never been able to make a decision on 2 :|

Vita: Hot Shots Golf

PSP: Ridge Racer, Corpse Party (visual novel gameplay, check youtube)

PSX: Symphony of the Night, Silent Hill, Resident Evil 1-3

Just a few recommendations from my collection! Enjoying Virtua Tennis? I need to spend about that too

Edit: Maybe Urban Trials? Hmmm

Only if the game has the same product code... or something like that.
Doesn't hurt to try I guess since it's free.

Though, you may have that piece of DLC stuck in "waiting to install limbo" forever losing a download slot.

Answering my question I tried it. I did not work, the game LiveArea does not recognize the DLC. At least you can cancel the download installation in your notification queu.

But I wanted that DLC. I will eventually double dip for the US PSN only version...

In another topic, how is escapevektor? I have money for either it or the new tables from Pinball Arcade.

The Disgaea 3 manual included in the live area. *head explosion.gif* Far more detailed than the PS3 one IIRC. Also separated into "beginner," "intermediate," "advance" for topics. Which is nice. Kudo's to NISA for doing this.

Get it. It's the best two games in the series (IMO). Only thing that'll be jarring is going from IS's redone effects on PSP back to the original conventions (that IS PSX had) with EP. IE: Higher encounter rate, a more shitty (but decent for the time) translation of Atlus', none of the upgrades the remade engine brought to combat... but it's worth it for the story and characters.

Is it a good primer for Soul Hackers? I am looking to get that when it comes out in a few weeks.

Edit: I wish Sony provided some built-in spending tracking during these "spend x to get y promos." I know I can check emails....but I always doubt :|

Soul Hackers is first person Dungeon Crawling. Persona 1 is more like that than P2. P2 is more a JRPG of 1996-on than anything. Third person dungeon crawls, random encounters, talking to the party, a story...

Only thing it has related to most SMT titles is the negotiation system that is included in P1 as well.

Use it to get cards, to summon demons/personae for yourself/your party. It's (IMO) a better system than fusing demons like the normal SMT route that P1, 3, 4 went with Soul Hackers, Strange Journey, et. al. going. Level up? You get these demons if you have the cards and want them. You have skill cards? Use them.

Only downside is not being able to send skills over as inheritance to another Demon, but if you rank them to 8 (which is pretty quick) and "desummon" them at the Velvet Room by Igor you get an item for the trouble that generally will benefit a Persona you summon (or buffs your stats)

While we're having this discussion...would you say P1 is worth anything? Getting P2 brings me to ~$143...I see what you did there, Sony :(

I tried to upload a screenshot using imgur but i keep having problems, was wondering if anyone here uses it when they post their screenshots. I try to upload it via the vita browser it works and then i go and click images again and its gone. Has anyone run into this problem, is it the browser itself? Also if you set the image to private would it not show up here if i posted it or is the private function just for that site itself?

Last time i transferred to the pc first then to imgur and it worked so idk if its something im doing wrong or what.

Yup I tried a week ago and it wasn't working for me.

How are the SOCOM PSP games? I'm kinda wanting a tactical shooter. Fireteam Bravo 3 is only £6.50.

I've heard it's pretty okay, but it's also developed by Slant Six...

If you want to get it for $10, it's worth getting to see where the series comes from. But: It's aged really badly. It doesn't contain the original music (a sticking point for CJ Iwakura here at GAF), and it still has that stupid position battle system.

HOWEVER it includes the "Snow Queen" quest that was dummied/commented out (since you could access it via Gameshark but the "story" there was gibberish since Atlus didn't translate it) of the PSX version. Note: That's a harder level side-quest and not really recommended of a route for a first playthrough.

Story for the "main quest" is barely there.

I'm slightly sore on the game but it's really a product of it's time and it really depends on what you want to do. For the sale price, it's "alright"-ish to see. But it depends on you.

There's a demo on PSN IIRC. But I dunno if that works on non-PSP systems. I would wager the right-stick enhancement would help but it would still be kinda clunky of a shooter.

For what it's worth some people say Slant Sux (er-"Six") was better on PSP systems than they were on PS3 with Operation Turd City and Constipation. Who knows. I don't because the demo wasn't too impressive for me to wade into it.

Eh, I'll pass on that one I guess.

And playing games like DJ Max makes me wish that the Vita had a glass screen :|

Greg Miller has very bad taste in my opinion. Cool guy though, glad he beat cancer.

Though I don't agree with him politically I actually line up more with Colin's tastes and agree with his reviews much more. Though I did agree with Greg on Gravity Rush.

Strangely enough, my digital copy of Disgaea 3 doesn't seem to have a manual. There's not even a manual icon on the LiveArea. I remember my old physical version did...
