Just saw it, very funny episode. But it makes me even more curios about Stan. I like that the first thing he does when entering the room is pick up his old glasses and hide them.

That was a great post and I agree with you. And you weren't joking with the gamefaqs thing but it is weird that Wendy gets hated more than the enemies of Dipper (Robbie and Lil' Gideon). And, like you said, most of the time the show really shines in creating unique twists to the story so I'm confident that in the end we'll have satisfying resolutions to all mysteries and relationships.

See, I told you guys not to go! The sad thing is that the thread you guys are describing wasn't even the one I was referencing. It's kinda sad in a way. People calling a 15 year old a whore over a reference of "several boyfriends" in the show (Or Dipper a white knighting stalker) is fucked up, cause in my head, at the end of the day, despite how tall Wendy is, or how smart Dipper is, they're both just kids!

Well, I myself am kinda mad with her, but for different reasons. There's no way she doesn't know Dipper has a thing for her, why not just tell him it won't work out and end his suffering? They can still be buds.

I'm gonna guess, her actions in Boss Mabel? Yeah, can't really defend that.
About the other thing, I'm still saying she doesn't see it, unless she's like a huge bitch or something, but I personally think that in truth, she's kinda dense or nonchalant at least relationship wise. Look at the episode from last, when dipper gets nervous/stares at her. She goes from this:

As if saying "WTF?" to this within 10 seconds:

(then again, soos didn't get what Dipper was doing either...so maybe it's not just Wendy...). I think she sees him having "weird/freak out" sessions.

Ditto goes for the gothic douche. In double dipper, Dipper knew why Robbie was at that party, yet Wendy seemed oblivious to it. Fuck, she doesn't even go help him find the stolen bike. And when she accepted his offer of going out/steady, she was like "yeah, I guess," in the same manner and tone that she accepted Dipper's invite to the fair, as if it was just something to do. Compare the real future of Time Travelers Pig (where Robbie drags her all over the fair) with Dipper's good future (where its the opposite; never before have I seen a woman so pumped over funnel cake...). It's like two different people!

This kinda comes full circle with the gamefaqs thing. To those that havent been paying attention, the whole deal is that there are MANY sexist posters over there calling our favorite ginger (sorry wendy, not my favorite redhead) the "town bicycle/teenage whore" due to the little speech that she gives Mabel about having several beaus despite being only 15. My point is that children, such as Wendy, toss around the boyfriend/girlfriend label without any serious significance or meaning.

As a parallel (since I'm a big Scott Pilgrim fan as well) look at Ramona Flowers and her 7 evil exes, the earliest being in grade school, and the last being after college. The first three could laughably not be considered true relationships since Ramona herself says they'd lasted a very short time and/or had little to no physical contact (the first sexual instance being Roxy Richter "experimenting" in college). Hell, should those first three even count? At least Scott could say that he
fucked
both Kim and Natalie/Envy.

But, back to case in point, could see it easily go either way (after all, the rednecks of the town thought it was cool/cute when Gideon dated Mabel, a girl 3 years older than himself, so why the hell not?) I just don't want to watch the 'net be right and see her break Dipper a la Bane in Dark Knight Rises...

There's a leaked pic going around that may effectively blow apart one of the big mysteries surrounding Gravity Falls. I saw it. And it makes too much sense. Fuck. It's a pretty huge spoiler when you study the pic closely. Seems to be an off-screen camera pic of test footage on a monitor. It could be a clever fake but apparently someone showed it to Hirsch, because this was posted:

Oh man. I know how Hirsch and even Pen really hate it when big stuff like this leaks, so it's probably legit. Will make sure to stay away from all fansites and whatnot.

Yeah. I wish I got the memo earlier because I accidentally stumbled over the leaked pic on another forum.

All I can say is goddammit I wish I could travel back in time to stop myself from seeing it.

Will stay away from tumblr, reddit, and /co/ ASAP. So, did said leak come internally accidentally or what exactly? Between this, and the huge delay earlier this year, fuckin hirsch just can't catch a break...

This is gonna be one of those Harry Potter finale things isn't it, where spoilers are leaping out everywhere?

Yeah, but they have to do a continuation of some of the oddities sooner or later. I mean if you look at the episodes at whole:

The gnomes still roam the forest, the gobblewonker is real, Wax Larry King is still in the vents, Gideon's has the #2 book, the convienence store is still haunted, the manotaurs are still pissed at Dipper, 2 Dipper clones that stole Robbie's bike are never found, Blendin vowed revenge, etc.

So, with so many unresolved things listed above, there's gotta be some revisits. Plus, now that i think about it, in the newest episode, isnt it the second time that theres a hidden
room
found in the house? Could be kinda like Eternal Darkness, where there are secret/sealed areas all over. I was personally hoping for a sequel to Fight Fighters but Disney made that online Scott Pilgrim like brawler, so there goes that...

Maybe they'll do a Sinister Six/Twelve bit where all the baddies team up...

I was nearly SHOUTING at the screen. He had it covered until
he totally pulled a "Mordecai" and fucked himself over. The one time the kid needed to be adorable, sensitive, and understanding, and he didn't realize it
. It kinda made me think of Peter Parker, where despite being a genius, he says a lot of stupid shit that gets him in trouble.

Also, nice Evil Dead reference as well. Wonder if the team at Disney knew it was releasing at the same time as this episode?

There is a rumor going around that Time Warner (the source of the leaked episodes thru on demand) isn't reporting any new episodes in the near future (at least for the entire month of May!). This is in contrast to almost every other Disney show, which are reported to have at least 1-2 new ones during May.

So, new hiatus anyone?

The only other answer I can think of is I remember hearing that Hirsch and crew were trying like hell to keep the on-demand services from leaking the season finale, so maybe that's what happening here? (but then again, a 4 part finale?)

Wow. Watched a few episodes at a friends house last night. This is far better then I thought it would be. I think it became one of my favorite shows with "But you're gnomes, and I'm a girl, and its like, what?"

I always laugh when Grenda starts talking about girlie stuff with her incredible voice: "This is Grenda time!" "We're masters of STEALTH" "They're aggressively dancing at us. Call me deep Chris."
And the Sev'ral Timez group were fun as well: "Straight brutal, girl" "don't disrespect her, bro" "Our one dream is to escape to the real world, for real." "I think this is food, dawg"
I'm glad Wendy broke up with that awful Robbie guy.
And Grunkle Stan's subliminal messages were so funny: "buy more T-shirts" as well as his “Darn beautiful men, always eating out of my trash! Wait… what?”

One more thing (kinda a warning). Definitely, Gravity Falls GAF, stay away from gamefaqs for awhile. The same Wendy-hating jag off is posting the leaked pic mentioned above in several of his posts with no to little warning.

Literally, I mean, like (SPOILER ALERT) (ANSWER), so that's there NO way that you could avoid it. So, after 2 weeks, I wasn't done in by tumblr, or reddit, or even 4chan, but friggin gamefaqs...

Anyhoo, since it's spoiled for me, not gonna lie: totally didn't guess said character (hangs up my batman cowl in disgrace), even after the show unknowingly provides such a huge hint...
