Why apologize? Half the people here treat it like a personal blog. Not to mention the guy who called you out has almost 200 more posts than you in this OT. Plus, it's not the first time I've seen him try to police the thread or tell someone to post less.
Shut up, Heckfu.

I want to see more of him.
He is the best character in the entire franchise. Hands down.

So is anyone else having problems switching loadouts in game? Only way I can choose a new loadout during a game is through the start menu (nothing happens when I press Y to change loadout during the respawn time).

Well... I wouldn't go so far as to say Halo 3 is dead. On life support, sure, but not barren.

No, but it certainly aged harder (netcode and whatnot). Reach hasnt really aged at all, you just may have to wait a bit longer occasionally for a game.

How many people play Halo 3?

Dunno havent signed onto Halo 3 lately. However I believe both Reach and H3 counters no longer record right? Someone else may know more of this.

Netcode for Halo 3 seems fine to me, still the main and only Halo game i play since it released in 2007.

Ehhh I dunno man. The one time I played Reach, half of my shots weren't landing and the grenukes and shit got to me too fast.

If you all can enjoy Halo 3 then do it. I think its aged too hard, the veto system doesnt allow me to play on maps I enjoy as often as Reach where I can veto and do none of above until I get something I like. I dont have the DLC and like most of the disc maps so I have a high chance of getting something I enjoy. Coupled with the fact I have a hitscan DMR instead of a who knows whats going on BR paintbrush in molasses. Terrible framerates if more than two people use a piece of equipment at once and weird visuals to whats actually happening then by all means enjoy Halo 3.

I am playing Reach because it offers me the most enjoyment from a Halo game.

Protip tho in Reach: Pace your shots. The DMR is hitscan meaning stop blaming anyone but yourself when you miss shots. AKA adapt.

Sounds like a good plot.
I'll wait for the short stories, now.

It was brown, red, green, and more brown and it was all over the place.

Beamish walked into the bathroom and groaned. Somebody had done their damage all over the 30th Floor portside restroom yet again. They were a serial shitter, and they pulled the same exact stunt fifteen times in the last week. Quickly after the fourth incident, Beamish went to his superiors and asked for help was was promptly laughed at and shunned from the UNSC Janitorial Corps mess hall.

Beamish vowed to teach them all and decided quickly after the seventh incident to bend and buy his own security cameras, monitors, and other tools to catch the serial shitter.

One week and eight incidents later, he was beginning to doubt if he would be able to catch the shitter at all. He or she was a very elusive and slippery shitter, and Beamish had no espionage or preventive training in the field of apprehending serial shitters.

He grabbed his mop and walked into the bathroom. Over his shoulder, out in the hall, he heard a squad of Spartan-IIIs trudge by in their heavy armor. "Come on, Crimson," one of them said. "Let's go get some chow."

Beamish hung his head. "I wish I could go eat now," he murmured. Instead, he was stuck cleaning up what would eventually be found to be over eight pounds of excrement sprayed pretty evenly all around the room.

Beamish lowered his mop and pressed it against the poo on the floor. The mop jolted in his hands and Beamish felt it grow hot in his palms. He took a step back and attempted to pull the mop with him, but it quickly began to vibrate and snapped from his hands.

The mop stood erect on the floor a few feet away. As Beamish watched, it began to glow. A brilliant flash of light burst from formerly unseen seams, and Beamish fell to the floor with a gasp.

His vision returned a few moments later and Beamish raised his hands to shield his eyes. "Wha-?" he began.

The mop stood the same as it was a few seconds earlier, but a hologram floated above it. "Human known as Beamish," it spoke in a heavy accent. "I am a Forerunner Artificial Intelligence known as Mopicant Bias. I am the last known combat effective intelligence in this sector of the galaxy and I wish to express my gratitude for your prompt revival of my primary systems."

Beamish was not trained for this. He had no idea what to do. He screamed the only word he could think of, reflecting back on the squad of Spartan-IIIs that passed 10 seconds earlier. "CWIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMSOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNN!"

I have some 2500 posts there... Lawl. 90% of those would be before Halo 4 announcement, I'd say. Back when the forums were pretty decent.
