Nintendo, it is SO EASY to get us back on board. Just make the things we have been begging you for.
A new Earthbound or an Earthbound remake would do wonders for you. I would buy a Wii U just for that!

Against all reason, I have decided to believe it now. Especially since I have never played Earthbound as a poor European and am finally getting it. Since then I can believe anything in regards to this series.
Also, why else would Eartbound all of a sudden be such a big deal to Nintendo? IT MUST BE TRUE!

I would find it odd for them to release Earthbound on VC if they had an HD Earthbound remake in the works.
This is what I'm expecting. Itoi's been only saying no new sequels for Mother, never shot down anything else.

Sounds to me that he wants the game to be made, but he doesn't want to do any work, rather that he wants to experience the game as the player. The way everyone else got to play it when he was making them.
