Is this a new Xbox One wheel or something that exist for 360 and I just didn't see it before?

It's an old MadCatz one for 360.

I love how people rip into the console in the other thread because the game isn't true HD, but then you have people here saying "1080p and 60fps? That's to be expected. Big deal."

MS deserves the flak being sent in their direction, but it's fascinating to see the extent to which people will manage information to meet their particular ends.

Unless you're going to point out specific people contradicting themselves, your claim is worthless.

1080p is to be expected on these new consoles. It's not an impressive feat.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but apparently games like GT and Forza don't have these simulated / soft body damage and deformation due to licensing of car brands. Games like GRID and Burnout have more developed deformation animations because none of their cars are branded.

GRID, I believe, has licensed cars.

probably shouldnt speculate, but maybe this is a hint that 360 wheels will work on xbox one. why else would it be at turn 10? could be its just included because its a wheel, as an obvious tie in to the racing genre and the xbone wheel isnt ready or chosen to be debuted in a fm5 behind the scenes video, or that its there for the more obvious reason, to test fm5.

wont get excited till we get confirmation.

truth be told, i'm still using the old MS wheel and wouldnt be all that upset if i was forced to upgrade (so long as a terrific wheel is available) --- but, i would definitely feel for all of those that made heavy investments in good 360 set ups.

so I guess the DC devs had it right all along?

"A coat of paint never goes on perfectly even, even on a million dollar car. It's the slight imperfections you can see it in the reflection of the car"

Technically yes but it is WAY too prevalent in that screenshot. It's only really noticeable upon close inspection.

Sound impressive to me after I read all the rumor on Gaf of how crappy and barely better than Wii U, Xbox One is. Slow RAM, slow clock speed and now even down-clock, poor GPU, poor CPU, OS taking up all the memory, 6 months behind and the negative list go on and on ...

In the last Forza video thread, OMG 720p confirmed, Xbone suck etc. Now, 1080p confirmed suddenly it's not impressive and to be expected.

Trust me I am as disappointed in Xbox One as many of you anti-Microsoft people, but threads on NeoGAF lately is just beyond any crazy console wars rhetoric and crossing into fanatical.

GTA 4 has soft-body simulations on the cars. That is why the cars crash soooo good.

Agreed, people should try to keep their criticisms aimed at the confirmed details of the hardware and system software. Lashing out at individual games, seemingly without good reason, is ridiculous.

This is coming from someone who hates the Xbone. I mean, I think almost everything about we've seen about the Xbox One so far has been terrible and I actively wish the it ill, but I don't make things up or jump to unsound conclusions.

I really really hope that this is indicative of Microsoft's first party games -- the 1080p I mean. If a game is third party, then I might be able to get it on PC and then do 1080p (or above, with downsampling), but first party games aren't likely to ever change, so they should always be 1080p. As for fps, 60 fps is a must for racing games. As for first person shooters, 30 minimum on a console. With a controller I don't notice lower frames as much as with M/KB.

You've been unabashedly anti-Xbox since this whole saga started.

You even laughed at comments in the other Forza thread about 'reading between scan lines' and agreed with comments about how it was going to be '720p'.

No one is saying its such an impressive feat, but it at least proves you naysayers wrong, yet I dont see many of you having the good grace to admit it. Instead, you're just trying to downgrade the news from 'lol' to 'not a big deal' in a way to devalue it any way you possibly can.

I'm betting that it's 720p upscaled to 1080p.

Microsoft has been touting 1080p upscaled from lower resolutions for quite some time, and thanks to mass public ignorance, they get away with it.

really people have been taking a huge dump on anything xbox related, this thread is actually funny because of all the people spamming 720p/60fps

but honestly i don't give crap it's just sometimes irritating because it takes a bit to find a real response.

Anyways this is pretty good news for the guys who are into racing games

I love Turn10 :) , about the resolution, i dont care if is 1080p or 720p both are good and as long as they keep the 60 fps and gorgeous graphics im fine with either. Far more important than the resolution is a good AI, night, weather, dirt and 12-16 cars on track with a solid framerate without screen tearing.

Should be put to work in a coal mine.
So then the question becomes: Why the fuck isn't drive club 60 fps ??

This game looks amazing.

Licensing issues i was told.
Ooh yeah good xbox news on my cake day :p.

I love Forza. It's THE only thing that would make me buy the Xbox One.
I've been hit (as many others have) badly by the shit-storm that is MS and the Xbox One. It's so relieving to finally see and hear some positive news..

Bring on E3!

It's like it's become some people's sworn duty to shit on MS, regardless if the news is genuinely good.

Didn't once hear a mention of tracks. At all. Not about their history with them or what they might be hinting at for FM5... nothing.

We'd better get some goddamned track DLC this time around. If we wind up with 1500 cars and the same amount of tracks the game launches with, I'll be pissed.
