So this Demon's Souls II thing, did Verendus and or other insiders confirm it for Vita as well, or was that our pure speculation from them just simply confirming it's in development?
No platform was specified by Verendus.
He didn't even say if we would see it @ E3 or not.

Miyazaki (lead director of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls) is not directing but supervising Dark Souls II. So, he is definitely working on something else.

That's actually my assumption for the second one. Nagoshi has stated he plans to work on PS4.

I seen on twitter something about Insomniac's Sunset Overdrive being announced at E3 and Respawn's games being titled Titanfall.
Link? I thought Sunset was something entirely different.

IIRC, they specifically mentioned exclusive DLC content for the sports games and then shortly after the conference they announced the full sports lineup for the PS4.

Not to go off topic, but as someone who hasn't played Demons Souls or Dark Souls (I know...), I thought Dark was a sequel to Demon?

It's not a direct sequel. It's basically like Final Fantasy X-2 and Final Fantasy XIII-2 both existing.

My point was that Final Fantasy is not anywhere near what it once was. Gamers today would be more excited to see a new ip or at least revisit a game that hasn't been seen in years, like KI. I'm not saying it would be a better game, but if had a copy of the next Final Fantasy and a copy of a new KI in front of me, I would play the latter first. My opinion is that there is fatigue from all of the FF games.
If FF is so big, why didn't it become the gamechanger that Neogaf predicted when MS announced it for 360?
Its just not viewed as a system seller anymore.
Multiplatform games tend not to be system sellers because, well, you can get them on any system.
There is still a very large core Final Fantasy fanbase. If Final Fantasy XV delivers and is marketed well, is there any doubt that it will sell at least 5 million copies? I know I, for one, will play FFXV, and if it is exclusive to a platform, I will buy said platform for it.

I'm pretty damn ecstatic about that Demon's Souls 2 rumor. It confuses me a bit on why Demon's 2 would be made when Dark Souls/Dark Souls 2 are "spiritual successors". Seems a bit redundant.
That being said I'll buy the hell out of it if it's true.

LOL being Xbone exclusive could be HUGE.
It would also break my heart if Dead Rising III were to be an Xbone exclusive. I'm planning on buying PS4 first and Xbone when I have some money to spare down the line. Dead Rising is one of my favourite franchises of last gen... I'd love to play it when it comes out.

Not sure if serious... Lots of Sony's studios haven't revealed what they're working on yet, plus there could be more third parties confirmed on their end. I won't believe anything until E3, and even then I won't believe anything until I see trailers or gameplay.
Yeah, like Sony they don't really do full blown third party exclusives anymore. They usually do timed ones and the devs will use that money to fund their game being ported to other platforms.

i said in another thread about possibily no more off shelf 2.5" harddrives, its Sony's own or bust. Similar to Vita and Xbox360. Better if not, but i wont cry over it.

Might have already been stated but Verendus pointed out in his post that the PS Plus features (early access, free Gaikai) were NOT going to be shown at E3. Not a huge deal but if his other stuff pans out, I dont want people saying that hes not entirely reliable because of the Plus stuff.
