Oh my this is embarrassing. Yes we know RUF uses the chassis' of Porsche and their body shell. Doesn't mean its a Porsche because as it has been said time and time again pretty much everything else is their own parts so their treated as a separate manufacturer.

... But motorstorm apocalypse was on another level. It's an AMAZING game, mind blowing and incredible fun. I still have in my mind most of the tracks and driving like a crazy cat over the crashing roof was one of the most awesome gaming experience.
Apocalypse is a gem and too many people skip this game
That's why I have a lot of faith for Drive Club.

I came in to help point out that the car is in fact a RUF. (Which I was right BTW.)

You know I'm honestly quite interested in DriveClub but the people in this thread are turning me away from it if this is the kind of community I can be expected to have to deal with on the game...

Audi R8 is running on Lamborgini V10
focus/Golf (don't remember which exactly) share same parts
Lotus uses Toyota engines
Zonda uses Mercedes AMG engines.
Maclaren F1 used BMW engine
Ruf is Ruf, Porshe is Porshe their chassis may be similar but those cars are different.

I loved the first two games, I'm not sure why I never got around to playing Apocalypse, it's free on plus isn't it?

3D on this game is simply amazing and I would say even better than GT5 cockpit mode.
Oh well; at least you have a proper sound system (You do, don't ya?) 'cause the soundtrack is really good.

Perhaps you asked him licencing question in your interview that will appear in the pCARS thread?
I'm looking for a PGR replacement on console and this could be the game to do it.

Frankly, I did not. The source for the rumour about deliberate holdup dates back to very Porsche DLC announcement and private discussion I had with one member of one forum who seemed to know what he is talking about.
However, I never got any other confirmation about that from some other source, nor I could have really - such info, if true, will never get leaked for real.

Motorstorm Apocalypse is fucking amazing, wish it did better. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun with an arcade racer.
