I think they have a good basic framework in place for GT7. More powerful hardware will eliminate most of the issues we see here, all they gotta do is concentrate on the sound.
i wish the ranking had an option to make a steering wheel/controller distinction.
Well I've spent half my day playing this demo. I got gold on the 4 practice tests but the full lap is killing me. Best I've managed so far is a bronze at 2:28. :/
HOLY SHIT!
They actually pit after the race? I've been wanting that since they did it in Toca on PS1.
I've never played GT, but... holy crap this looks impressive. Also nice suspension work.

I've only tried it on Autumn Ring, after the race is over they'll pull in the pits leaving you to lap the track in peace.
Wait, how do you acquire the GTR?
Is the game easier with a wheel? I find it difficult to drive aggressively with the pad. I seem to spin out too easily.
Can't wait to try it. Juts out of curiosity is there any damage model implemented in the demo?

Playing the demo, and goddamn, this game is amazing.
+ Excellent graphics
+ Very clean IQ
+ Awesome lighting
+ Fantastic driving model. Physics feel much better. I can no longer feel the classic understeer that has plagued GT games
+ Smooth framerate
+ Instant load times
- Flickering/Shimmering
- Cockpit windshield is a little dark
- Lack of AA
- Poor sounds
I'm surprised how much better this game looks compared to GT5. Despite seeing footage for games like PCars and FM5, I am still extremely impressed with GT6. The lighting looks wonderful.
Solid must drive obviously, so I will do the GIF time.
New suspensions:

wait, how are you guys playing this? I thought the PSN store doesn't update till later today....?
Yeah, I tried it with the pad a few mins ago and there is still this large abyss between the edge of grip and the point of no return. Very forgiving. And after watching ROSSI's lap it seems like the fastest way around the track is still sliding the car through the corner, though it's a bit toned down compared to GT5. I'll have a go with the wheel later tonight.
Taking the new physics for granted, the one thing that I absolutely love are the improved loading times. That is a big plus for me. When the full game comes out, I can take different cars on a Nordschleife session more efficiently.
EU has it up. NA has to wait until 5pm.
It would be great if you can change cars AFTER you load a track.

Yup, I'm really excited about that feature. And we'll finally have Youtube uploading next gen! lol.
Ah well that would make sense.
Also, need moar gifs
"Still"? The fastest laps were never like that.
Don't then, just go check the replays on the top times of the leaderboards of every week, or the previous GT A. You wouldn't have a rebuttal afterwards anyway. They were. However, I'm not gonna go back and forth on this with you.
There are framerate problems and stuttering. Fewer in 720p mode. When I checked this thread earlier I saw lots of talk of framerate problems and stuttering. What's the word on that?
Wait, is this on the US store today?
Gah, thanks. Pass. There are framerate problems and stuttering. Fewer in 720p mode.

Good to see the AI has improved. Lol. Jeez.
Probably just placeholder right?

The driving style required to get a top time in every GT Time Trial ever since the first GTA has always been the same. It's still faster to drift the car into the corner, settle it and light up the rears on the exit without being punished for it. This is not the fastest way around the track in real life. It's a point that comes up among the top drivers every GTA.
