You kind of have to have multiple matches going at once to participate, otherwise it's going to take way too long. It's asynchronous play so you don't have to be online with your opponent at the same time.

I know that. The problem is the PSN friend limit. Something that Sony can't fix until PS4 comes out :p (barring a mass cull of friends - which I might need to do anyway...)

I'm brutal with my friends list. If I don't know you in real life (and maybe if I do) then you're gone if offline for too long.

Quoting again because my name didn't get quoted.

I'm all for the agreed set of rules for each game, during the group games at times it felt like a slight cheat to use my favourite expert character with level 3 equipment when my opponent had level 1 or 2 and an intermediate golfer.

Then the Semi and Final with Intermediate and standard equipment levelled the playing field and it was left to skill and luck, made for closer and more tense games.

Is there no way to set special rules offline in practice mode? I want to activate Teeny Cup to practice my putting but there's no ability outside of that one special rule activated tournament?

Got a Hole-in-One and "Double Eagle"/Albatross earlier today but because the hole-in-one didn't throw up a GIR for hitting the green in Par 4 in one-stroke, I missed a crown. Now I have to redo that course. SMH. :/

(At least I only have to do the special shots and skipping things and buying things now. No more worrying about sinking the shots in certain stroke limits for me anymore!)

woof that sucks. sounds like you're nearly there though. have you done the 50% perfect impact rating?

i've got about 13 crowns to go. and a whole lotta shopping / sinking certain shots (double eagle/hole in one/ etc.

i actually had a flight last night and played/focused nonstop for so long that i actually dreamed of getting a "triple-eagle"...

the game just keeps giving... let me know if you or ANYONE wants to play sometime.

Nah, I haven't attempted the Perfect Impact since my PI stats for my whole career is like... 11-28% :lol

Hey guys, got a quick question. I DL Kat from the store but now I can't seem to find her in the game at all? I'm not very far (15 stars or something) but surely I don't have to get farther in the game to unlock her right?

You don't have to unlock her. She's in the character select menu, you probably have to scroll a bit to the right. Or you haven't downloaded the patch.

You haven't downloaded the patch most likely. She is to the right of Expert.

It's been a long time since hearing from moogrose, so I'd say if anyone wants to set up a tournament then we should get one going. We don't know how long we'll be waiting.

It's the same for any game: Even if you don't play online and want the DLC you have to have the patches installed.

Is that a US trailer? Kinda surprised they're calling the game "Everybody's Golf". It was confirmed for the EU a while ago, I think an announcement for the US would be new.

Er-It isn't a port of a port. The portable title was the original release. This is just a port now being released REALLY late in the US.

I don't think they'll call it Everybody's Golf in the US but if they do that'll be a pleasing surprise so every one is on the same title instead of two/three different titles in the world for the series.

I've a problem.

I'm playing Everybody's Golf 5 (again).
I've reached Level 4.
I'm trying to load the 3rd course (European one) and it doesn't load. It takes forever and nothing happens. I' have to quit the game and try again. And no luck, everytime.

Do you know what's wrong with it? :(

I deleted installed data (not save) and reinstalled. Problem solved.

What about the slowdown? Is it still there?

Anyway, cross-play patch (1.06) is out for the portable version. Why it wasn't out yesterday/US store update... I dunno.

Apparently it brings some balance updates but I'm assuming they mean the level 4-5 clubs and balls.

Gonna hop online and see if the population has risen above 20-50 players in a bit.

I played for over two hours without any slowdown, but I wasn't really looking for any. I also play on the smallest scaled screensize because of my televisions overscan, no idea if that would affect performance.

What's with all this DLC for this game? Can you unlock all that in the game or do you have to buy it? It sounds like it would give you quite an advantage online.
Also, can you transfer your save from the Vita version or do you have to start over again?
