Ittle Dew seems to be unplayable for me. Checked boards, looks that not so uncommon occurrence. I didn't much like of what I played, otherwise I wouldn't be happy at all.

if anybody wants any of these, contact me on steam much later today, or any other day

SteamDB developer and generally a pretty crafty guy.
Has the time finally come?
I'm going to answer the Halo related package updates. We ran a full update yesterday, and this caused many packages to update at same time, because Valve marked them as developer packages (DevComp), so it hides real package name and they appear as "Steam Sub %%%%". Some changes can be seen on the history page.

TL;DR: Valve's responsible for updating these packages, not developers. Halo was dead, still is.

Anyone knowledgeable in terms of headsets?

I'm debating on getting Steelseries Siberia v2. They're fairly cheap and I've heard they're really good, at least for their price range. Either that or waiting a little longer and getting some Sennheiser PC363Ds

I have some Tritton's I used to use for Xbox, so at least I have something if I decide to wait but they're not really that good..

Siberia v2 Is amazing as long as you don't get the cheap chinese knockoff. If you play dota2 you should wait for the dota 2 versions to come out ; they are more expensive, 120$, but they come with a digital unlock that is actually worth more then the headset.

thanks

I tried to get into Dota 2 but there's just too much to learn so I didn't bother. Those headsets look nice though so I might just get them anyway

When was the first time you checked the official site? That has been there since day one.

Just wait and see, they still have time to self-publish on Steam.

I own a pair of the PS3 version of the Siberia v2 and they are super comfy to wear. I can use them for my PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

You did not say whether you redeemed the Tomb Raider key as well. That would have been a bad move.

I said in OP that I already had it (check my steam profile if you dont belive me, ive been playing it for months) so he didn't even check to see if I had it already before sending it. I just did it to see if he was that gullible and thus to tell him about never falling for that again. You may think what I did was bad, but id never scam someone out of what they wanted.

You should compare the Steelseries Siberia v2 and the Corsair Vengeance 1500 and get whichever one best fits your needs.

this and SC Blacklist being made in UE2 defy my understanding

"Heavily modified" is the key word here. It's all but meaningless to say it's a "Source" game.

Well for precaution I'm gonna make me a Credit Card, just in case my current card suddenly gets rejected by Steam or any such site for no apparent reason.

I laughed.
I understand appeal of Titanfall, but level of hype seems a bit much, no? Imagine all tears, if it'll turn out to be not as good as everybody expects (><)

As I said in another thread, it isn't more than the hype we get for high profile games. Ubi games usually drip from every faucet, TLOU was getting insane ever since its reveal, it dominated E3 last year, or there's Infinite. No one complained with those games.

Nobody complained about Bioshock Infinite? I must be reading different gaf then.

Yeah, I'm not saying it's going to be good or bad because of its engine, I'm just impressed by the amount of work and modification that must have gone into it to allow that kind of game to be made.

Cry more. Origin is actually decent despite what the haters lead you to believe and is here to stay.

Who says that we are listening to anyone? You know not everyone bases their opinion on either hearsay or being a hipster. Some people actually installed origin, used it and then realized how much of a stinking pile of shit it is.

I'm talking about pre-release hype. It was getting big hype since its reveal in 2010. It was best of show in E3 2011, got lot of awards, like TLOU the next year etc

Prepaid VISA cards always worked well for me.

Well my bank can be weird sometimes, it can accept paying for GOG and GMG, then the next month NOPE!
Furthermore, having a CC will mean I can get PSN Cash codes from Amazon.com and Shopto or Game with more ease~

And Steam was a stinking pile of shit aswell. Give it time, EA have done alot of the last year.

My only suggestion is, if you're unhappy with your bank blocking your purchases- try another bank. I know it's a pain to switch but there's probably some out there that are very good about letting their customers buy things online.

Oh really? When was this? When PC gaming was on the verge of dieing and steam originally was released? Right because at that point, there were SOOOO many other options available.

What's shit about Origin? I've never had a bad experience with it tbh, and the client itself is very inoffensive. About as lightweight as they come I'd say.

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
10 years from now, Steam, GOG, Origin and Uplay will be but a memory, and all that will remain in the DD space is Digital River's service, complete with 30-day download expiries and a fee if you want some more longevity.

My experiences with Origin have been decent overall, and I find the whole thing pretty inoffensive as clients go. Some people have definitely had problems with it, and I'm not going to trivialize that. On the other hand, the blanket statements that it's "awful" and the like seem a bit much, too - there's a difference between "some people have had very real issues with this service sometimes" and "everyone is always having problems with this service, and it universally blows."

2004, dude. We're in 2013, there's no excuse anymore. And if the competition is doing fine, I don't see why we should sit and wait for your shitty product to get better, if it ever does.

i've had Steam since its beginning and i've tried Origin last week.

Steam at its worst state was no way as UI and UX awful as Origin

Is Steam really "doing fine"? The client could use an overhaul and the more and more frequent server issues with borked community/inventory/newsfeed Valve is having are getting on my nerves.

Origin has fewer features but for what it does it's fine these days, the bigger problem is that I don't want to give EA money, so I use it as little as possible for buying games. No Day 1 Titanfall for me but not because of Origin itself.

Yes it is. It might be a complete mess in most other areas, but playing, downloading and updating games is rick solid.

Personally, they could remove the rest completely and I wouldn't really care.
