Splosion Man & Ms. Splosion Man are so incredible it hurts. I'm so glad I ended up playing these games.

I'm up to 2-7 on Splosion Man's hardcore mode with almost minimal effort. 2-4 and 2-6 made me die a lot but it wasn't too much trouble patiently going through the levels and waiting out the sentinel lasers.

So you finally decided to go after hardcore mode. :p

magic 2013 and rainbow 6 vegas are septembers GFG games

i'm ok with this. magic i'd never pay money for but i'd definitely check it out for free. vegas i've always kind of wanted but not enough to spend the money. why not the second one though...oh well at least it's not stuff i already own :p

"Ben 10 - Rise of Hex" seems to currently be free in the US.

For us in the UK, it's been delisted... at least I assume it has. I seem to remember it being available, but doesn't come up in the search anymore. My friends kids would love it, so he's pretty bummed.

Does anyone think there will be a price difference between the versions of Lococycle?

Like..

$15 360
$20 Xbox one

Suppose they could charge more for 1080p video and better graphics!

wait, so i can just redbox all the new 360 games and get $10 credit as long as i play it for at least 10 hours? that's on like each new game that comes out? that sounds too good to be true. saint's row is still within a month of release now isn't it?

For every new Xbox 360 game you play for at least 10 hours, you'll receive 1,000 Rewards Credits.

5000 credits = $5, so you need to rent 5 games and play them for 10 hours each to get $5. Or play one game, earn 1000 credits and request an early deposit of $1.

.

Just noticed that Saints Row 4 and The Bureau is already up on Games on Demand. They are getting faster to put games on there.

Also the new Xbox Live Rewards is up. 5,000 Credits equal $5.

http://rewards.xbox.com/

The new rewards are quite nice, seems you get more in the way of credit than you used to? But the website looks awful. And it doesn't say what the qualifying apps are for the Apps Punchcard that I can see?

'credits' seems more confusing than MSP ever was. at least it was clear that MSP made no sense. credits makes you think oh this must mean one cent equals one credit, but for some odd ass reason it doesn't, because you know i pay 1/10th of a cent in lots of transactions all the time, i mean we all buy gasoline don't we. what is this i don't even..

If they wanted to be smart, they'd make it $20 that gets you the game on you4 360, and your XB1. Even if Microsoft were to charge 5 dollars more for "Cross buy" on their games, offering the option for cheap would most likely help sway some people to buying an XB1, since they'd already have some games for it.

I think the price is a bad idea as a straight price, though. It doesn't look substantially better than the 'splosion games, and they have something to prove with their action games after Comic Jumper's poor gameplay / fun ratio. For those who think Crimson Dragon looks "last gen", how are they ever going to be impressed with this game?

This is going to cost the same price at launch as Killer Instinct "Round 1" (and maybe Crimson Dragon?)... I just can't see that working favorably for them.

Doesn't seem confusing to me. It's essentially 1 cent/1p per 10 credits.

Capy have put out some screenshots from PAX. There should be a new trailer coming as well.

Looks like The Great Mighty Poo is making a guest appearance in Super TIME Force.

Super Time Force is going to end up being one of the last significant XBLA titles, I can tell, especially since MGS seems to be making all their internal stuff XBLA/XBONE hybrid. Actually, point of fact, is Super Time Force getting a One release?

On that note, who here is buying an Xbox One at launch? Ideally we'll want to have a separate thread for Xbox One downloadable games (emphasizing games that are not available at retail and mostly dealing with $20 or less games). It'd be great if someone could have that responsibility.

Can someone confirm this for me, cause I feel like I must be missing something.

So I have around £15 on my Microsoft account now, from my converted Microsoft Points. Which I just now went to use toward a game from Games on Demand, however because that game is more than £15 it wouldn't allow me to use the points.

Can you not use the funds in your account toward something? Meaning if a game is not the exact price or below the funds you have, you just have to use another payment method? Cause that's just plain shitty if that's the case.

Impressive!

Shit, yo. That is legit!

Heh thanks guys.

The two Splosion Man games have easily became my favorite games this gen.

I was telling Lordji before that I would not even attempt beating Splosion Man on hardcore. I know I reneged on that statement but I'm definitely NOT gonna try beating Ms Splosion Man on hardcore. Each checkpoint in Ms is like a hardcore level in the original. All I need is to beat the multiplayer and then I'll be satisfied.

I started playing through Case Zero and really enjoying the signature Dead Rising game play: timed story, saving survivors, huge emphasis on goofy comedy, and encouraging multiple playthroughs to master a short campaign. It feels like Dead Rising 1, but easier and smaller.

Can someone please say if there's a point to playing Off The Record if I play Dead Rising 2? If Off The Record is better, would it be worth it to just trash my free DR2 and try to find Off The Record cheap?

I'm leaning towards just never playing OTR - its existence annoys me.

I have Off the Record for ps3. It moves a few missions/survivor locations. Terror Is Reality multiplayer is removed. Sandbox mode is available from the beginning. It also adds a new theme park area (Uranus Zone) and a couple new combos/weapons.

Owning both, I'd say stick with DR2 unless you HAVE to own everything with Dead Rising on the label.

I think OTR is only worth playing if you are a hardcore DR fan. OTR is better in some ways and worse in others, but when it comes down to it they are basically the same game.

Also, Ms Splosion Man is so beautiful with the way it exemplifies the concept of a sequel. It's Splosion Man on fucking steroids. The levels are longer, more difficult, more satisfying, and way more varied. They added a dozen+ new platforming and puzzle gimmicks that greatly enrich the game play (i.e. Power lines, pink splode walls, trampolines, etc...).

The visuals are a huge leap over the original. Everything is cleaner and crisper, but more importantly they added vibrant and dynamic backdrops so that you're not staring at the same green/purple/red walls level after level.

They added amenities like videos/soundtrack/photos etc... And the music is better, from the girlified main theme to the various level tracks. My favorite is Whale Slushee: http://www.youtube.com/watch?nomobile=1&v=5zC3alXiDXI

I robbed Twisted Pixel blind when i bought the TP bundle for 800 msp...

Just bought Hard Corps Uprising and Beyond Good & Evil.

Is Monaco worth buying for single player?
Any chance you can tell me if Ubi fixed the insane issue of not being able to invert the Y axis in BG&E? Game is unplayable for me because of it. It's insane that they didn't change this in the HD remaster.
