Nope, haven't watched it lately, just clicked! When I first saw it I thought "Man that dude looks familiar." Then, I came to the thread later and saw it again and I thought "Oh damn Incredibles!"

So this thread isn't all some weird aspergers-level coincidence noticing, I just beat Rayman Legends today and what a fucking stellar game. So incredibly good.

I completely agree. I just beat it yesterday and its so, so fantastic. I have a 3D monitor and these last two Rayman games look mind-blowingly good in 3D. Playing Origins in 3D was seriously in my top 3 best gaming moments of all time.

I never really payed any attention to the Beyond Good and Evil games, but if Michel Ancel is part of the team then you just got me way more interested. The Rayman games (the new platformer ones) are probably in my top 5 favorite gaming franchises.

I believe he's downsampling from a ridiculously high resolution, much higher than 4K.

I wish, my VRAM wall is right after 2160p. I get 20-30fps, but this is thanks to the menu pause DoF effect, which tanks my fps to the single digits, but luckily then provides more time to snag a little bit of the effect during transition .

Me as well. I really like the art direction in this game and can't wait for some new content.

I wasn't able to render this as high as I liked but I think the sheer effort that went into getting this screenshot makes it fit for the thread. Definitely had the 1 FPS criteria ticked!

I still get 60 fps, but then again this isn't the most graphically demanding game so it's not that crazy. It is absolutely beautiful though.
