Tokyo Jungle Mobile is nice for people who don't own a PS3, but otherwise there's really no point in getting it, the original game is miles better.

I don't want to come off as needy, but if someone can please give their experience on the severity of the "mura effect" that would help a lot. You know, green splotches on black screens, the thing is, my new Vita seems to cause some green tinting even when the screen isn't totally black, the Soul Sacrifice demo is a good example. When I started that up, the opening screen was so dark that the "mura effect" was fairly easy to notice.

I just want to know how common it is to notice the "mura effect" on more than just pitch black screens. I've also heard it can get better over time, that the screen will "resolve" the issue over time. Any advice or input on this issue is appreciated, as I want to know if I should exchange my Vita for a different one.

Not sure if I'm gonna buy Tearaway... I have so many other games to play, mainly PS+ games :|

I'm in the same boat :|

I'm about to replay Uncharted GA, we just got Stranger's Wrath, and Soul Sacrifice is next week... I want to buy it, but there's too many games for me right now

If it's bugging you to the point where you're seeing it on non-black screens I'd exchange it.

As for the mura going away, I don't notice it on my Vita as much but that could be because I'm used to it.

There are countless full price 5-6 hour games. This makes me sad. :(

agreed thats pretty pitiful - esp since its only 40$. granted all people are in diff financial situations and see value differently...

a six hour experience of bliss is worthy of my 40$ more than a 50 hour game of garbage..

so much hardwork went into this game by very talented people - reward the employees labor with your 40$

I long ago stopped being angry at review scores, but when almost literally every other review loves it (including mine, I'll admit)...I really wonder what game Joystiq's reviewer was playing. Especially when she says stuff like "Maybe placing my fingers on the back for balance is a weird way to hold a Vita...", as if it's a given that she's not the crazy one. Who holds their Vita like that?!

There's very little chance I'll buy it. I have very little time to play my new PS4. That, coupled with the fact that the new Mario is coming out.

My son won't let me play anything else.

My 64 GB card safely arrived from Japan, and now I'm downloading everything I've had to delete prematurely. Nice.

Any PSM recommendations? I only have Life of Pixel, but I want more!

Super Crate Box all day.

It looks like a PS2 game...

The Vita is NOT a portable PS3. Hell, we can't even get PS2 games working on the Vita or we'd have portable God Hand, Shinobi, Odin Sphere, etc. :p

Check out this sparkling Tearaway review, guys:

It looks decent enough, there was no chance it would look anywhere near as good as the home console/PC versions. Doesn't matter all that much though, because the game is very bland once you realize it's a cheap knockoff of the Arkham games.

One question: I'm in the Hollow Forest in P4G, will I lose my items if I left the dungeon, save and then return?

Is a freaking shame EP is the PSX version, damn you FATLUS, damn you.

At least US can play freaking Eternal Punishment. We EU plebeians can't buy the game unless we made an US account. I looked in PSN yesterday and didn't find anything :(

I don't have a Vita and PS3. I am checking the SEN website and under Vita, Soul Sacrifice is not listed as free for PS+?

I only see Uncharted, Hotline Miami, Oddworld, Wipeout 2048, Pinball and gravity Rush. I tried to add Gravity Rush and it got added to my Download list.

IQ is so bad it looks like a PS2 game. FPS seems to dip too :(

Hmm doesnt look bad...well it looks bad but the game looks kinda fun. lol

Here's additional footage of Spiderman Vita .. sorry Blue but it seems the colors are so washed out on your capture.

Anyway, Skyzard, time to make good on your Spelunky purchase -- the patch is live.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/...3-and-ps-vita/

Hey, everyone! It’s Derek once again. First off, thank you for your tremendous support of Spelunky on PS3 and PS Vita. You’ve made it clear that it was the right choice bringing the game to PlayStation! We’re really happy about how the game has been received (generally with much glee, followed by screams of anguish, followed by more glee).

But I’m really here to talk about our first update, which is out now. Of course, every game launches with some number of bugs, and Blitworks has been working hard to fix as many of those as possible. The slowdown in certain areas of the game was probably the biggest issue, and that’s been addressed. They also fixed a bug that was preventing certain Trophies from being earned.

Also, if you’ve been watching streams of people playing Spelunky on PC, you may have noticed that that version of the game has a unique feature called the Daily Challenge, where each day a set of levels is generated that has the same seed for everyone playing it. If you get a high score on the Daily Challenge, you can really attribute it to your skill and knowledge of the game, rather than the luck of the draw (i.e. serious bragging rights).

On top of that, you only get one chance to play the Daily — if you die, you gotta wait until the next day to try again! So yeah, somehow we managed to crank up the tension of playing Spelunky even higher… and PC players seem to really like it!

When Blit heard about this new mode, they couldn’t wait to implement it on PSN. That’s one of the great things about working with them — they love their work and relish the technical challenges of doing an awesome port. It’s right in line with the spirit of Spelunky and the spirit of the Daily, which, as you may have guessed, you can now play on PSN as part of this update.

So enjoy the Daily Challenge. Enjoy the bug fixes and optimizations. Enjoy life. (Enjoy death, too.) Just enjoy.

(And special thanks to Doug Wilson and Zach Gage. They gave us the idea for the Daily Challenge in the first place and have been great friends and supporters for a long time. You guys are the best.)

I've banned myself from Spelunky in the short term because every time I sit down to do 2 or 3 quick runs it ends up going for 2 hours.
