Bought! For some reason I had $5 in credit too so it came out to $20. Sweet. This is the first Battlefield I'll own that I'm not severely lttp to.

Bought a couple things from US Amazon store from UK and now being told the orders have to be further verified and it will take up to 4 hours. Have I been rumbled? I bought a couple of other things the other day and it was all fine :/
Don't worry, it normally does this during high volume transaction period and/or when you purchase more than one item in quick succession.

I got a couple random questions about the psn plus digital codes:
1. do they expire?
2. if I have a trial going atm, will entering the code erase the trial or stack it on to the end of it?

They stack, and as far as I know they don't expire even though some of the physical cards have expiration dates.

Well this officially sucks. Must have tried atleast 3 or 4 times to get a gift card from amazon.com and either the order gets cancelld (then the account gets locked) or it auto cancels the order as soon as I try to buy it. Here's what I am doing:
1) I set up the amazon.com account.
2) I attempt to buy the gift card.
3) I enter my card details (tried twice with my uk debit card and twice with my uk credit card)
4) I entered the billing address to a US address I got off the internet. (Does this have to be fake?) Tried this set up with my proper billing address as well and nothing.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

That's pretty much how it's done, I've used a fake address and a real address before and never had any issues with either of them, not sure whether purchase history has anything to do with it, perhaps they're just a lot more cautious when it comes to newly created accounts purchasing digital codes and it's failing their checks because of the address.

Yeah, I could try it using my proper amazon.uk account but would rather not in fear of that getting closed :/

My BF4 code is giving me a "The Prepaid Card code you entered is incorrect or is no longer valid" when I try to redeem it online. I just did AC4 and it went through fine.
maybe it's the codes not allowing to be redeemed thing, but it's still weird I did AC4 without issue. I'll just wait.

AC4 also worked fine for me too, then 5 minutes later I tried BF4 and Flower - got that error.

It doesn't appear to have anything to do with Amazon cracking down specifically on these transactions, I've never had a problem buying from the US store using my UK account and my purchase of BF4/$10 went through fine. I imagine they simply have tougher security checks when it comes to digital codes because of how instantaneous it is and with the address not matching up to the card any triggered check will fail - new accounts and multiple quick purchases are probably just more of a target for random checks.

Just bought BF4 but the upgrade is showing up as unavailable after redeeming. AC IV was there straight away
AC4 was immediate for me, BF4 took about 30 mins
You may have to use a card which doesn't check your billing address. I personally have an entropay card for this purpose.
I've never been able to buy digital items from Amazon US with my UK cards because my Natwest cards just say no due to the address not matching.

I keep getting "The Prepaid Card code you entered is incorrect or is no longer valid" when i enter my $50 PSN and BF4 code from Amazon. I tried on PSN store from my PC and my PS3/4. Is this because they turned of the redeem option? I'm just worried I got a wrong code by Amazon by looking at that message from PSN.

Yup, it's because of Sony rather than Amazon sending incorrect codes. My $10 code says the same and others have the same problem.

This stuff really needs to head over to Europe as well... At those prices I would've purchased a couple of launch titles in stead of settling for the PS+ stuff. Kinda anxious to play AC IV after III was such a let-down...

Fucking Amazon. I bought AC4, got $5 credit immediately. Used that to buy BF4, but didn't get the $5 credit (it's also part of the promotion).
I sent them an e-mail, they say I should normally wait 48 hours but the guy went ahead and added it to my account right away so I should be good to go. So I go buy something else and nope, the guy didn't add anything. I sent another e-mail and here's what I get:

i've been begging for over 5 years.
The only issue I had was BF4 on PS4 takes FOREVER to 'install' after you download the initial 6gig file from PSN.

Didn't have that issue, it downloaded and installed fairly quickly.
AC4 on the other hand is taking awfully long.

I don't think you get the $5 credit if you're using a prior $5 credit on the purchase. At least that's what people have mentioned.

Amazon US doesn't sell the PS4 version of FIFA 14 digitally, nor is the PS3 version part of the upgrade program. That's my plan scuppered.
That's my plan too.
They're actually OOS for fifa ps4 digital. They have no idea when they'll get more. ( dixit Amazon CS ).

I haven't been able to upgrade the PS3 version of COD: Dogs. I see "unavailable to purchase" in the PS3 > PS4 section of PSN.

You can't do it with the PSN version from Amazon.
I read in this thread that you CANT do the PS3>PS4 upgrade if you bought the AMazon PS3 digital im afraid. Not sure why exactly as it should let you unless Activision blocks it and only lets disc copies to get it done??

Is that some official stance? Or is it just a problem? BF4 upgraded no problem. The COD page says digital and disc versions. I don't see any small print stating Amazon sourced versions don't apply.

Is that the case only with CoD? I was able to buy the Assassin's Creed PS3 for $34.99 and then bought the upgrade for the PS4 for $9.99 with no problem. You just have to make sure to got the PS3 > PS4 section of the PS4's Playstation Store.

I've called once a day since Thursday to get this resolved. APPARENTLY, it SHOULD work. They took a look at my PSN account and said yes, it is the digital copy, and yes, it is eligible for the upgrade. They said the issue is tied with the PSN code redemption being turned off (I don't quite believe this) and it will be fixed when that gets fixed (again, I don't quite believe this because redemption went down Friday, but I bought the Amazon code Thursday). They said there's nothing they can do about it until the redemption comes back 100%. Whatever...tired of this. I'll just be patient.
Sony CS pretty much told me it not their problem and amazon is "researching" the issue. Crap experience all around.

Can I buy games from the US-Playstation store with my US-dummy account with my Swedish Mastercard? Or Can I buy a code from Amazon and redeem it from my dummy account? Will the code Come to my email Or by mail?
Some of the PSN games I bought dropped in price. Amazon gave me credit on the difference.
This PSN partnership is right up there with streaming as a PS4 best feature.
Except for the cod upgrade fiasco. Sony won't take ownership because amazon sold the code and amazon won't take ownership because sony owns the store.
