I doubt we'll see much better prices come boxing day but anything is possible.
$20 first party titles from Nintendo are too few and far inbetween for me to take the chance, especially for only a $5 difference.
I still ordered Fire Emblem when they were sold out. Said they'd ship it when they were available. Shows up as 25$ on my order too.

All sold out at the west Edmonton Superstore (as with any deal item in Edmonton, it seems).
I already own one so if they did have it in stock it would have been more annoying than anything.
DAMN! So would this be in all Superstores or just the one? Because I've seen deals at one location but not the other, even when the deal was going on for weeks.

I don't know what's going on with my Walmart Wii U order. Still says submitted to fulfillment(it's been saying that for a week now) and, after I sent them an email asking for an update, they've removed the hold from my CC :/
Check your local mall, if there's a sunrise or if HMV still exists in your area you might be in luck.. Otherwise, WalMart would have them for sure.
Just wait and buy the Blu set that includes the CD soundtrack. Amazon.com has it listed for $27.99.

As long as it ships by the 9th, but I agree he had posted that it was expected for them to ship by the 3rd.
After the 9th I would just have Paypal cancel the transaction but would be scrambling to find a unit as it is part of my kids x-mas present.

Whenever I want to buy a new LP or CD I order directly from the label. With the stuff I listen to at least it is almost always 5-10$ cheaper than Amazon or in store.

Call them, you will probably get errors all the time if you try by the website. They also cannot update a credit card by e-mail. However, they will add a giftcard by e-mail request.

I know you like to defend Canada deals and all that, but come on now... You know what he means! People investigated the discrepancy of prices between Canada and the US (which will, of course, appear even bigger with deals) and it is insane how much we get screwed over for no reason other than country pricing.

actually FE wasn't ever eligible for any E3 promos, unfortunately. it was only listed by FS/BB back in January or so.
I know in general we have higher prices but over the course of the year we save far more money and don't need to wait months for clearance prices to do so. Seeing people bitch about US deals because of one insignificant sale is a little frustrating in a thread where we post good deals year round.

I understand what you mean, but people bitching at things like that specific deal are probably just tired to see many deals like that not reaching us here. It's most likely accumulated frustration. However, all the deals from the past few days in the US are Black Friday deals and we really can't complain that we did not get prices that are as good here. We have boxing day for crazy shopping while carrying a hangover!
I have to agree with you on one thing, we sure get crazy deals on most video games when we do our homework with Futureshop.
Still... I would have loved those 50% off Vita memory card they got! haha

I think the problem is that these are the same corporate brand, even though they are separately operated companies or whatever.

Yea I had it in my cart 3 times, during the 3 times it went up and every time it said that my credit card address did not match the one that is on file. It NEVER happens anywhere but on Gamestop US site. I looked it up and there was a crazy amount of topics about it all over the net. In the end, I was never able to get my order through...
