I wish he was right handed, color me weird but i always hated left handed characters, same for Counter-Strike, i can't fucking play the game like this.
There is just something about it that really bugs me.
The power of motion blur and a heavy-handed depth of field.

This is really dissapointing for me, since Zelda is the only Nintendo IP that is a system seller for me, so this news definitiely means that this game will be released in 2014, which in turn would translate into the proper Zelda Wii U not coming out until 2015.
I highly doubt the next proper zelda installment would come out 2014 anyway.

Of course not. But there's a large enough fanbase for musou games in general over in Japan, a fanbase that buys musou games because they're musou games, not because of the franchise they're based on, that this will sell well enough to them. And even if only a small percentage of that audience gets interested in Zelda from that, then all the better for Nintendo.
Hell, I knew very little about Gundam, One Piece, or Fist of the North Star before buying their musou games, and now I'm interested in all three franchises.

Hopefully the online coop is smooth, assuming there is some. It could be an interesting way to see what a Zelda game with more emphasis on combat and coop/multiplayer could be like. Even though this game isn't going to be much like a mainline Zelda title at all, I'll still keep an eye on it.

Double Hookshots aren't exactly amazing either. I've always thought the hookshot was badass, but that entire dungeon was so... ugh. And even then, can you really say the control rod thing or the top were cool? So lame, especially compared with OoT and MM. I was so disappointed by TP I traded it in after being the game, and I have every original copy of the other Zelda games.
It looks on par or better than 360/PS3 Musou games. Not sure what the expectations are here. These games have to sacrifice some things to keep a solid frame rate while juggling dozens of enemies onscreen. Plus they aren't the most talented developers in the world. It looks like fun and the fanservice is there.
I can't believe there are so many graphics snobs commenting on a Wii U game.

I've seen Source engine mods look better than this.
Heavenly Swords pushes more characters on screen without looking like shit. All other Musou games look like shit because these Japanese devs are stuck in the past. Have you seen the Dynasty Warriors game shown for PS4? It looks like fucking garbage, and they are all like "we are pushing the PS4". Bullshit, Musou games look like shit not because of technical limitations, but from limitations of the devs.
They don't look good, they don't run well, and they always look AT LEAST a generation behind in terms of engine tech.

My urge to get a Wii U is rising. I love Musou games so this is another game I'll definitely get when I pick up a Wii U.
It would also require more effort i'd imagine seeing as they can't just fill the screen with Moblins or Bokoboblins or whatever they were called in SS
This looks like it will be the poorest received Zelda game published by Nintendo, if only because the Warriors series has been one of the most stagnant in gaming.

It's funny as well because some of the best dynasty warriors have come out actually recently........Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2&3 and the newest dynasty warriors were some of the best of the series by far.
I don't buy DW games based on graphics and I won't start now they are just plain fun to play......and finally something I can look forward to dusting my WiiU off with.

Well, they're making this because Nintendo don't have enough studio to release HD games and 3DS ones.

It's my third or fourth favorite game... It has better replayability than OoT.
Of course, I also count Wind Waker and Majora's Mask as my favorites in the series. I like good story and ambience in my Zelda games, Twilight Princess had it in spades.
So, I'm down for this Musou if it has a good story.
