I wonder if there are after-debate polls.

I think McCain lost this by alot.

I think Romney will be declared the winner, only because Hucks and Paul werent allowed to talk.

If debates mattered, McCain would lose every single primary on Super Tuesday.

Too bad debates don't matter. Maybe if he picked his nose, he would lose a few votes.

Very Bob Dolesque.. this pleases me.

He's a below average debater and a below average speaker (When the questions aren't being spoon-fed from a friendly person on the other side of the mic). I have confidence that the more he is out there eventually the more his numbers will get dragged down and his vaunted ability to draw moderates in a general election will be put to the test.

Didn't watch the debate btw.

You don't watch much on politics these days, you breaking the habit?

McCain is an obvious phony.

"My dear, sweet sweet dear friends."

Ugh.

Nah not really although I have tuned out a bit lately. It's more interesting for me when a whole bunch of people are in the race and you get a lot more diversity of thought. I'll tune back in when the Dems get their nominee and we move closer to the conventions.

I though Huckabee sounded the most Presidential and diplomatic. Again, Ron Paul made a lot of great points on the economy, but sounded a bit like an exasperated old man. McCain said the same things over and over again, and I don't like war heroes to be snarky. And finally, Romney, unfortunately, had to constantly address issues that should have been debunked by the reporters on the stage, especially the timetable garbage, and when he was making his points, he kept drifting into defenses against the dumb things McCain was saying thus essentially weakening his own effectiveness. To me, Huckabee was a calming voice in the storm that was raging on that stage and he and Paul both seemed to do a better job of answering the questions. It is sad that all we will hear about until Super Tuesday is McCain/Romney soundbites.

I'd probably sound exasperated as well if I only got 6min tops to talk in an entire debate, and look ill at ease and on edge, wondering if I will be able to make my entire point across without being cut off by a moderator after twenty seconds.

If McCain/Clinton get the nominations I'm going to abstain from voting, despite this being the first election I could vote in.

This isn't "the best political team on television." MSNBC's crew is far superior.

Well, they think McCain won the debate. So I don't know about that.

Watching Hardball now.

The correct answer is they are all pretty shitty.
MSNBC has Brokaw, Brian Williams, Russert, Olbermann, David Gregory, Pat Buchannan, and the always entertaining Chris Matthews.

Yeah. I have a hard time even picking the lesser of evils. And wtf at Romney? Is it me or does he look orange? Hell, he looks so much like Ronald Reagan, hair style and all.

Brokaw is the only name there who isn't an ass...

Well I guess Williams is alright and Gregory doesn't make me want to slit my wrists.

MSNBC's pundits are *THE* reason to watch MSNBC. CNN's are straight laced and boring.

MSNBC's all have personality and seem to honestly have fun. Even the conservative ones like Buchanan and Scarboughrhrhrhhrr are entertaining.

He is more entertaining than random old man in a suit on CNN that has no personality.

Sure, if you enjoy being infuriated by entertainment. His smarmy tone pisses me off. I agree, he isn't boring, but damn does he strike nerves.

This John guy on Hardball is saying the same thing about McCain and his grin as GAF. :lol

They all do which is the point they are unfortunately going after. I can only watch so much MSNBC, or FOX punditry before I want to kick the TV in.

Because that is what you watch the news channels for? Seeing people 'have fun'? I think if you guys watched the news channels from where I live, you'd drop dead of boredom. :/

After this debate on CNN, I'm starting to question if theres any unbiased news source now a days.

Same here, they treated Hucks and Paul almost like Fox would.

BBC should start hosting debates.
