you can win this war in several ways, if you want, I can spoil it to you
Naval war can be won by having voice and instruments at max, actually all musical skills (not going to the sea). I don't have my notes here, I'm at work, but you probably need some other skill trained too, can't remember.
The most easy way though is to have Lumen skills at max and sword skill at max (not going to the sea).
There is another way by having Lumen skills at max and going to sea, multiple Lumen attack, you win a war but with consequences
keep in mind that there are probably more ways, I know those only.

Two out of three of those involve losing the war. Only way to win the war:

Have a fleet. Also the skills to lead it. But mostly the fleet.

I wasn't clear enough,
you do lose a war but with these enemy withdraws regardless, meaning you don't lose it.
Even when having a fleet, I lost a war without those 3 ways mentioned before, actually.

I've seen your post about Magic 2014 earlier. Campaign is not easy and sometimes very unforgiving, it took me 6 tries to beat Volcano and that's not unusual for this game. You need right set of cards to beat certain bosses, and as your hand is more or less random, it takes many tries to get a hand you can use effectively. What I wanted to say, it's not supposed to be easy. Sometimes you lose with your enemy having 1 or 2 HP left. There is certain beauty in it, and it makes victory so much sweeter, like you did something great!

Yeah I can understand that. But when I posted earlier I was literally getting beat in 4 turns or less. I really think it was a difficulty issue. I knew red decks are fast but 5 restarts and she would have her rare flying creature with haste as well as 3 others. Then again green decks are always slow but what I was dealing with was just nuts. It wasn't even close until I played again this morning.

I hope you bought these during the sale when the keymarket collapsed. You should really just stock up on keys then with that volume you'll save bundles.

Edit: vv Oh, I hope that guy bought those during the steam sale :D

Hm... I'm thinking about getting the Freyja's Bundle, even if I have all the games except for the two Supreme Commander and the DLCs for Darksiders 2.

I don't know why.

I love my Vita more than the 3DS. the hardware on the 3DS is horrid. would love to stream the games to play on my Vita instead.

Same I love my Vita more, but lately I find myself playing the 3DS more. That's thanks to the new Zelda of course :D. I feel bad because it's taken me away from Tearaway on my Vita

I would never sell or trade either of them though. I did that with all my previous handhelds and immediately regret it. The only old handhelds I still have are an original Game Boy and a PSP. I miss my GBA, SP and micro :(

Yeah I keep looking at the bundle.
It's a great bundle but I have literally all of it aside from Supreme Commander.

I made it a point not to sell my consoles/handhelds anymore after missing the GameCube terribly!

for once, I hope PSN and eShop are like Steam so that we can easily buy and keep the games. but oh well.

Someone make the Vita work as Remote Play for Steam games... that would be perfect (no. I'm not gonna get the Shield)

and please Enhanced Steam, show us the keys we used for retail games on the Account Detail page

Finished Brothers.

It was a nice experience, with some great atmosphere (although some lower res textures ruined the immersion here and there) and an ending that I was kinda expecting, given certain comments posted around here.
I say kinda, because
I was expecting the father to die, although as soon as they started descending into that cave, it became more apparent that something bad could actually happen to one of the brothers and after the fact I almost facepalmed about how I didn't pick on the girl jumping around like that.
I do admit that
the moment it happened, it hit me. Poor guy.

As an experience it was cool, as a game not so much. I wouldn't recommend it for 7.49$, which is what I paid at the end of November, but for 2.49$ it gets my approval.

Actually, very early in the Vita's life someone did this using the PSM development suite or something like that. It was available to the public to but for some reason I was never able to get it to work

Hm.
Did you have enough soldiers? I recruited every chance I got, including using the printing press but not including turning out the prisons. I also had high regard from the commoners (elegance at the parade) and no civil war (elegance + dancing at the ball, high enough court manners not to upset anyone when I didn't attend the birthday party). I also had all my military skills maxed when I lead the fleet (but no climbing).
I did make a mistake early on, though--
I was romancing Brin, so I went to war with Ixion and lost some soldiers. I could have paid them off (no soldiers lost) or made an alliance (no soldiers lost, plus they'd send their fleet) but I didn't know better at the time.

Hey, that might be a cause,
I went to war with Ixion too, thanks for pointing that out! and I lost soldiers there
I think to do sort of perfect run (passing one test on all events), it takes a lot of planning though, and I'm not so sure it's worth, seeing how I can still make wrong choices. Have you tried that?

There is no help, just make to another turn.

Last night Remember Me glitched again, which forced me to restart a mission. Nilin wouldn't leave the combat pose after a fight, which meant I couldn't interact with the environment and progress through the level.

Both times (the one where parts of a level didn't load and this) I was downloading another game in the background. Could that be the reason for it? Some problem with the speed the HDD streams at when it's been used by two applications at the same time? Or is the game just buggy, or am I unlucky?

Anyway, the game is still great, though it's getting a bit stale on the last missions. Apparently I'm close to the end, which is good because I wouldn't want it to overstay its welcome. The plot is interesting enough that I want to know how it ends, and the combat is still fun. I'm just getting a bit tired of the platforming, because in the end it's always the same. And I don't know if it's because I'm playing with a rather low volume and I'm missing something, but it seems like it's been a while since I last heard the kick-ass dynamic soundtrack during fights. It rocks and is implemented very well, so it's a shame not to hear it more often.

I don't know how other people feel about the ending to that game but the big reveal/plot twist was on the same level as bionic commando's dead wife is powering my arm thing. I enjoyed playing it too though but felt the same way as you did about it's welcome, I find it's length to be close to ideal though. I had no such glitches on my playthrough so I can't help you with that.

I felt the same way, but I gave up on the second last level or so. As much as I adored the setting, artwork and music, the game itself was getting too tedious for me to care to finish it. I kind of wish it had Steam cloud support because I would probably have gone back to it now to wrap it up. Instead it joins the long list of games that remain unfinished.

Anyway it turns out you can't register the soundtrack edition of Tiny & Big from Amazon on your Steam account if you already own the base version, so I have an extra key to give away.

I always risk it and so far I found 2 foils out of the 4 booster packs I received.

Damn, some of you guys are lucky beyond belief.
I opened about 50 booster packs to this day (almost all of them bought) and I had 0 foils of them.
I need to stop complaining, or even thinking about it, don't I? (><)

GamersGate's Weekend Deal is 75% off the Sanctum franchise.

That's strange one, they had huge Sanctum franchise sale only month before or even less. Everybody who wanted bought everything they wanted, I'd think.

Oh rock of ages, do not crumble, love is breathing still. Oh lady moon shine down, a little people magic if you will.

Thanks dude! :D
Been on my wishlist for a while. Looks really interesting.

Funnily, I seem to be unable to find a foil from boost packs that I buy, only from ones I receive from Steam.

I bought some boost packs for The Witcher 2 and The Walking Dead (7-8 in total I think) and nada.

To this day, I've received two booster packs. None of them had foils.

JaseC

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
If Teslagrad's beta branch doesn't include proper controller support I'm going to cry.

Edit:
Line Rate - Upstream (Kbps): 384
Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps): 4640
