Is today really only the second time this season we've been able to play Suarez/Sturridge/Coutinho in the same team? Wow.

I think the first was the Arsenal game but I'm not too sure

I have this nasty feeling that a lot of players will also turn us down on the basis of being reticent towards working under Moyes. Most players won't have a clue who he is.
It's a factor but I don't think it's particularly high on the list.

The difference is that when you have a manger like Ferguson, Wenger or Mourinho - players will WANT to play for them.

But even then, how many players did we miss out on with Fergie? Who the manager is comes below the money, way way way below.

Figueroa?! <3 Good man!

People back home are cumming over him being included :lol

I feel our line up is too offensive considering we are playing a counter attacking side.

Would rather Lucas was playing with Coutinho on the bench. This side feels like it should be our away team when we play a bit more counter attacking.

I can't see beyond City for the league. Arsenal probably play the better football, but City sort of remind me of Bayern who can overpower any team they play.

True, we did miss out on a fuck ton of players because we cheaped out most of the time.

Lol at Benteke stopping to take a photo with a fan as he's coming into Anfield off the bus. He doesn't look or say anything to the kid. Stops, takes the photo and keeps walking. Nice guy...

Too attacking? Villa are absolutely shit. Hammer them from the start and you're golden.

Arsenals football is so crisp. So smooth.

But yeah City are winning it.

must be one of brendan's experiments for the battleship

will be interesting to see how gerrard takes on the defensive mid role alone, thinking maybe he should switch spots with hendo and go RM instead

I can see Henderson having to drop back as the match goes on if Gerrard is not handling it well.

Some papers reporting we bid on Koke but Koke vetoed the move. That's fairly depressing.

No it's not. All that means is that he wasn't willing to leave his club this season. Atletico are mounting a title challenge and are doing great in the CL. He has to give up both if he comes to United.

There's no chance of getting him in January.

Laboured, I wouldn't worry so much about players being recitent to play for Moyes. Like Viva said, there's only a few managers who players would actually go out of their way to play for. One season out of the CL wouldn't harm us too much when it comes to recruiting players.

Worry about what could happen if we cheap out on players again next summer.

Tbh I think City's inability to hold on to a lead will be their downfall as they play better teams it'll show even more. They end up overpowering with sheer attacking brilliance, but that won't happen everytime. I can see them losing to Arsenal and Chelsea.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
What a boring set of results. Arsenal are a machine, they have a tough run of games coming up but they've improved on so many of last seasons results. Games they drew last season they are now winning.

Newcastle's next games:

Norwich
Sunderland
Chelsea
Tottenham
Aston Villa

Chelsea and Spurs one after the other? Really now? Get fucked.

I already can't stand oil clubs. The thought of losing to City is unbearable.

Honestly would rather lose it to United, Liverpool, Spurs.

It annoys me that people still talk about Allen as though he's useless. I'm far from his biggest fan, but he's been good enough this season (Goodison miss aside) and is well worth a prominent squad role at least. Clearly not the role we or he envisioned when we bought him, but still.

Saps been dead this season.I really dont understand why Parma are making this deal now. Sap is a good talent, but it just makes no sense now. I would like to see the squad strengthened and make a run at 5th. Havent Parma always played well in the second hald of the season under Donadoni?
Yeah for some reason we always play like shit in the first half of the season but our wins start coming one after another in the second half. Well we did win against Milan (home) and Napoli (away), drew with Inter (away) and could have at least kept a draw against Juventus (home). What really makes me angry is that despite this decent success we dropped point against smaller teams. If we didn't we would be in a much better position now

Wednesday got a good away draw at Burnley, where is Bumhead? :(

Liverpool going for the kill against Villa, I think Rodgers' tactics are simple, we'll just overscore them, which we probably will.

People just remember his bad half to last season, which was because he had to play with an injury, in the first half of last season he was amazing, if he rediscovers that form he'll be much better than Lucas.

The only thing that City have in their favour is that they play entertaining Football and their players are, in some cases, genuinely likeable.
