Your friends here at PlayStation.com love indie games. With RESOGUN and Contrast keeping us busy since the launch of the PlayStation 4, we thought we'd look forward a little to 10 great indie games coming to PS4, PS Vita and PlayStation 3 this year.
1001 Spikes
HELLDIVERS
Octodad: Dadliest Catch
Secret Ponchos
The Witness
Pavilion
Transistor
Hyper Light Drifter
Hohokum
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number
And as if that wasn't enough - here are two more independent titles that will be coming to PlayStation platforms a little further down the line...
Rime
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture

Is that suggesting Rime and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture are 2015 titles or am I reading too much into it?

Rime isn't indie (published by Sony.) I think Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is Sony published too, but not sure.

EDIT: Never mind. Proved wrong later on, & OP updated post.

Man, just one must buy after another. 2014 is shaping up to be a great year for the Vita and the PS4.
I wouldnt be surprised if some of these end up on PSN+

PSN+ is so friggin' good.

Personally, I'm most looking forward to Outlast and Daylight. Both look like solid horror experiences, though I'm looking forward to the former more so.

DAYLIGHT

What's happened to Daylight ? It was meant to be an early 2014 title.

I'll be grabbing Hotline Miami 2 for the vita.
The 1st was so much fun on the go.

Also I could have sworn I heard word about them trying to bring Skullgirls to PS4 or am I imagining things?

Not sure what counts as indi these days, but have we heard anything about

7 Days to Die
DayZ
Rust
or
No Mans Sky

Coming to PS4?

Technically Rime, EGttR and Helldivers are not indie, as Sony owns the IPs. I'm looking forward to pretty much all of these though; loves me some indie games. I'll play them on my Vita if possible.

When it comes to consoles, the Ps4 is the Indie paradise.

I'm interested in almost all of the titles.

Sony did good in securing and investing in the indies. They're really hot right now.

Coming to PS4?

Sony has apparently been gunning for DayZ since before they announced the PS4 (remember the early UI showing a guy named DayZ100?). Dean Hall has confirmed that he's going to do a console version, but PC comes first.

Lots of indies to look forward to this year. Exciting times ahead for my PS4. Order of interest...

Hohokum - jacknicholsonnodding.gif. Relaxing, trippy, colourful, don't-know-what-the-hell-is-going-on-but-don't-care. Want it.
The Witness - Appears to be a very ambitious puzzler. Like the idea of the environment being this large island you can roam about in as you please.
Octodad: Dadliest Catch - Looking hella forward to this, but now it's not coming out until March! Didn't think the wait would be so long.
Transistor - That E3 trailer sold me instantly.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number - Really enjoyed the first one on the PS3/Vita. Will get this providing it's not a total retread.
Pavilion - I don't really know much about this; all my knowledge is based on screenshots. But it does look very intriguing.
Hyper Light Drifter - This does look good, but I'm not as dazzled by it as a lot of folks.
HELLDIVERS - Top-down co-op shooter. Ehh.
Secret Ponchos - Saw this at Sony's E3. Not my bag.
1001 Spikes - Looks like some kind of hardcore, rougelike platformer from what I can tell. Not interested.

I looking forward to Secret Ponchos. This should be a PS+ title if I'm not mistaken.
Top down western arena fighter sound super cool, very unique character design too.

Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty and Witness also must buy for me.
In fact all the titles in the list are very interesting, best of all we get variety back.

Did they not post Binding of Isaac because it isn't PS3? We know that development on it's likely to take a long while, but hopefully not a "2015" long while :\

Really nice bunch of indies they have lined up. Crazy how Sony has changed since a few years ago when PSN was pretty barren when it came to quality indies. The Witness, HLD and Hotline Miami 2 are at the top of my list.
