I think i'm going to pause my DmC playthrough and finish last light first.

Should i start on higher difficulty or are there some frustrating places?

Hope german Metro version isn't cut.

February games are posted.

PS4:
Outlast

PS3:
Metro Last Light
Payday 2
Remember Me

Vita:
ModNation Racers Vita (eww)
Street Fighter X Tekken

ModNation racers sucks but it's a good lineup otherwise. I already have Remember Me and it's the kind of game that's worth trying but not necessarily worth buying.

I'm not sold enough on Street Fighter X Tekken to spend money on it, but I'll gladly try it for free.

I'm actually more interested in Remember Me than Metro, but, I suspect Metro will be the first game we get of the month. Oh well. I think the lineup is great, though I do wonder about Payday 2. The first game controlled like ass on PS3 so I'm wondering if they fixed that.

Is Remember Me the one with getting memories out of others and changing them up? Mostly story driven with light combat? If so, count me in.

Yeaaah nice lineup. In for SFxT and Remember Me

Whats the point of buying games anymore? :p

I haven't for over a year. PS+ has kept me from playing GTA5, TLoU, Beyond:TS, Puppeteer, Bioshock: Inf (before PS+), etc.

It doesn't make sense to pay $60 for new games when my backlog of monthly PS+ games is constantly growing (with quality games, I might add).

Metro Last Light is tense.

I didn't know it has stealth elements in the game, liking so far.

Shame to hear as most seem to agree the combat is rather lackluster, but the story and memory stuff is it's strength.

Will be nice to play this as a part of the IGC :)

The art is great too.

Is there a way to see all the games you've "purchased" over the years with playstation plus? Just curious what games I have in my plus backlog from the past 3-4 years.

You can look at your "downloads" list. I don't think it narrows it down by just PS+ releases, though, but rather everything you've ever downloaded.

Woah. Went looking for my purchases on the web store and apparently I have like 29 pages of free stuff from PS Plus. A lot of these games I completely forgot about.

Ya I remembered trying Downloads on the PS3 and it was extremely tedious since it constantly was loading new stuff making it impossible to quickly scan for games.

Killer month for NA. I just bought Remember Me but don't feel bad since I got it for really cheap and it adds to my physical collection (nearing 100 games PS3 games now) :p

The art is great too.

'Tis indeed a pretty game. Good music, too.
I'm not finding myself particularly drawn by the general gameplay, but the world, story and memory mixing are keeping me interested (it's been on EU PS+ since the beginning of this year). Fine game for a free rental.

Will put my DmC playthrough on hold as well, as I'm curious to finally try Bioshock Infinite. Metro will get a look as well at some point, but it'll probably be March by then, and all gaming time will fall victim to Dark Souls 2.

I seriously can't hold all these games.

They really need to allow to you sort downloads. :/

Whenever you renew PS+, it bumps up all the PS+ downloads you made over the years.

There's a lot of combat and only a few opportunities to remix memories.

Very true, I thought it would be the other way around.
And unfortunately I bought the game when it was on sale through PSN and now I'm just starting to play it.. but story focus is always good since I got too much in my backlog.

I got too many shooters in my log: Doom 3, Bioshock infinite, Dead Space 3, and soon Metro: LL. Is it safe to say I should play Metro first? I saw a trailer, and I like the atmosphere. Horrors are my weakness

and it seems like a lot of you are putting DmC on hold.. I've already done that lol.. fun game though

I don't currently have a PS3, but I purchased a PS+ card on Amazon in November when they were going for 39 dollars.

I tried to redeem on the website, but I couldn't, so I redeemed it on my PSP.

However, I can't seem to log into the PSN Store to redeem my Free PS+ games. I did it back in November (redeemed all games through the webstore and assigned them to my profile). However, I can't log into the page right now. I click log in, fill in my information, the page just refreshes and I'm still logged out. Clicking "log in" again just loops me back to the page.

If I try to register an account, I can click the "have an account already?" button, type my information back in, and try to login again, but it just throws me into the store page, NOT logged in.

Is that a common occurrence? Anybody have any idea on what to do to fix that? I'm on Chrome, but that's happening on Firefox and IE as well.

The web page seems to be wonky today, I can't sign in either. Just try again later/tomorrow and it should be fixed.

There's something weird going on here. I got Metro via PS+ two days ago, but when I turned my PS3 on yesterday it just said there were items in my download queue. My connection is fast enough to download the game in the 2 hour time slot I've set. I turned it on again today, same message.

So I wanted to change the time slot to the current time so I could see if it would even download something, but when I got to the page with the list of things the PS3 is supposed do during the time slot, "Download content purchased on other devices" was deselected. Why's that? I've always had it selected and downloads always worked before.

I also had a look at the download queue on the PSN site.
Metro is obviously there, that's fine. But...
1) The PS3 download queue lists OlliOlli, but it's a Vita game and is has already been downloaded and installed on my Vita a week ago.
2) The PS4 download queue lists Don't Starve, but again, it has been downloaded and installed the day it was released.

I renewed a few days ago for three more months. I should just go ahead and get a year, too many awesome games. Actually excited to play Remember Me. Hearing a few tracks off the soundtrack has me hyped.

I have a question about unlock keys moreso for Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. I downloaded the unlock key and then downloaded the demo. While the demo was downloading, I was curious to where the unlock key was saved to but couldn't find it. Anyone know or would like to try and find out?

After I installed the demo, it turned into the full game so it worked just fine but it was just weird how I didn't see where the unlock key was saved to. Normally those keys, if downloaded first, are put into Game Data Utility. It's not a crisis but mysteries are meant to be solved. :p

Is Remember Me worth the time investment? I believe it's 8 hours or so, and that seems kinda a lot if the game isn't worth it.

ModNation Racers framerate is terrible. In some tracks (like the one with dinosaurs) the framerate feels like it drops to less than 10fps.

When the framerate is around 30fps It's a fun game and it fits the Vita better than the PS3. Sonic Allstars is better except for the difficulty balancing.

I downloaded BioShock Infinite but when I go to install it every time it says : an error occurred during the install operation (80029564).

Anyone have any clue on what to do?

The file may be corrupted and will need to be downloaded again. Before you even do that, try to rebuild the HDD database first to see if there are any corrupted files that needed to be deleted first. After that, try again to install. If that still does not work then you may really need to do a download again.

How do I go about doing that if you don't mind?

I already tried re-downloading, same result.

Just started Bioshock Infinite this morning...

well-that-escalated-quickly.jpg

Seriously though, what a great opening. I've seen many singing its praises on here, but it truly does set the scene well. Even after seeing numerous screenshots and trailers of Columbia, I was still left in awe when stepping into it for the first time.

I've also seen a lot of hate going around for the gameplay/combat. I don't want to start that debate in here, but let me just say that so far it feels just like the previous games, which - while obviously not a step forward - doesn't necessarily feel like a bad thing. I just hope it blends well with the story and Booker's role/mission (which with those flashbacks and stuff really has me intrigued).

Now I have this, Remember Me, DmC on the go, and Metro still to try.
The backlog is heavy without lightening the wallet. Thank you PS+!

I actually very much enjoyed the combat in the game and thought it was a step up from the original Bioshock, the only problem is it took a while to get there (since you have to unlock the majority of the powers). The powers work well together a lot more then I remember them doing in the original game (never got around to playing the second, I need to do that). I thought it was hell of fun to use the water ability to pull dudes to you then toss crows on them and then use their dead bodies as traps and use the water ability to pull more guys into it creating a chain reaction.

Really though what made it "click" for me was the charge ability. At first I thought it was pointless, but, then I got the ability for it where it automatically recharged your shields when you hit someone which meant as long as there was an enemy alive there was never ever a reason to stop attacking since you had infinite shields. Then when I actually started using it I noticed the range on it was insane and you could use it to reach balconies and distances there was no grapple points to. It was basically just a crazy mobility button for battles that made it so you could travel long distances and get to where you needed to be in a matter of seconds. Could just charge a dude in the distance, toss crows on him and one shot him with a hand cannon or shotgun (though I am fond of the hand cannon) and then use the water ability to pull everyone else to me where they would get chain CC'd as I continued shooting them. The other abilities had situational use as well, since some enemies were immune to some powers but not others. You could basically keep everything in the game permanently stunned if you did it right.

It wasn't very challenging for sure, but, I had fun constantly using different powers and guns.

So, I have just downloaded Metro: Last Light. I do also have Metro 2033 on Steam, but have yet to play through it. Is it recommended that I play through 2033 before Last Light, or can I jump straight in to the new game?

Last Light is a direct continuation, so you should definitely play 2033 first!

Today I’m happy to confirm that Outlast has passed classification and will be available for German and Australian PS Plus members to download this Wednesday. I can also now confirm a replacement title for members in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, India and Turkey: you’ll be able to download the PS4 version of acclaimed musical platformer Sound Shapes (with PS Vita/PS3 Cross Buy) from 5th February.

Well that sucks, looks like steam is the only reliable place for me to get it...
