Fun Fact.
My GTX 580 hates me.
I play HL2 at 3168 x 1782 pixels.
I turn on 4x Sparse Grid Supersample Anti Aliasing.
I also turn on High Quality Ambient Occlusion.

I get around 6-15 fps in-game.

When I get my next card, likely to be a GTX 780 or it's equivalent, I'm going to Push it as far as I need to to maintain my 6-15 fps. Hopefully, when I am no longer able to do so, Half-Life 3 will be out.

It's cheating. The shots were taken in 4K then tile multiplied by 4 by the console command, I can't see any noticeable difference using the tiling. The 4K shot looked exactly the same to me.

For shits and giggles I tried a Tileshot 7 at 4K, giving a 26880x15120 image at 1.5GB in size.

Seriously. I just looked it up real quick and Sharp has a prototype 85" 8K (7680x4320) TV in the works. 4K TV's are still like $10,000-$40,000. Sharp has a 32" 4K (3840x2160) monitor for $5,500.00

Doesn't look amazing but it seems there's a bug right now where some of the graphics options are unavailable. There's a custom option but it doesn't reveal any more choices. So the only options are low, medium, high. Also keep in mind this is just the tutorial level. And sorry for all the hud elements, couldn't figure out how to disable it.

The game doesn't look great unfortunetely but it does have its moments, just a shame the texture work is so poor. The game is only 10 GBs for reference, hoping for a pack down the line. Seems somewhat fun so far, haven't really played enough to judge. Shooting feels pretty fluid, especially given it's an mmo. We'll see how it fairs once I put some more time into it tonight.

Edit: Really like that sniper shot Neo. Would be perfect if you could edit the bullet trail a bit so it doesn't look so thick. Think it looks a bit crude in relation to the rifle.
