Anywho, sorry guys. More boring green stuff. I had an issue with non-stop crashes for a while so the last few levels I was just trying to race through. Maybe I'll go back once I figure out what's causing the crashes.
Oddly enough, I get much smoother frames after disabling SLI. Sigh.

There are some really nice set pieces in Dark Void. I took the following two shots in both normal and tiledshot as I liked the post effects with the lighting and particles. Although, I also like the crispness of the tiledshots so I've provided you the choice of both below. [Edit: put all images in quotes to reduce the size of the post]

Are you playing Conviction on Windows 8 by any chance? If that's the case, how did you get it to work?

EDIT- Does anybody know how to enable Steam Overlay on top of UPlay? I want to take screenshots of Blacklist but I had a Uplay code that came with my graphics card. It sucks it doesn't work properly.

I agree. The mods are completely crazy, but they come across as being perfectly at home in the world, somehow. It's the comfort food of the screenshot thread.

So.... you made me curious. I went back and reinstalled the game. Got the bindings setup quickly. Jumped in. First thing I noticed was... forced 16:9. Ugh.
The first mission was actually kinda cool looking, but the free camera situation when you're flying is... hardly ideal.
As soon as I hit the jungle level, I closed the game and uninstalled it XD
Yeah... babysitting Prophet while he gets stuck on a stick and refuses to progress and therefore kills himself due to getting too cold kept me on the edge of my seat XD Seriously though.... fuck escort missions.
I'd really love proper timestop in that game but I can't be arsed to screw around in the SDK for it. Same with Crysis 2. Though I think doing a proper Maldo HD playthrough is in order.

Yes. You can see objects that you can manipulate outlined in green. there's a command to disable that, though, IIRC.

Grrrrrrr. Finally managed to fixed tiledshot, and here I'm stuck on a map with no way to progress. It just keeps crashing. I'd need a crysis expanded saved game for the next level, and I'm not even sure it's worth the hassle. Oh well. Here's 2 more quick captures for funsies.

Yes, the bits on the ground run between mediocre and piss poor. These sections with the robot enemies and cover system remind me a lot of Binary Domain...which does this so much better. The game really shines when your flying though, the way the jetpack flight is implemented is really quite fun. More games need jetpacks with fixed guns!
Warframe really looks nice at 4k. Is it easy to remove the HUD? I don't remember having that option when I played it back in BETA.
