I don't see Vincent D'Onofrio or Walton Goggins.

I don't know why i even bother with the emmy's.

YAY for Tatiana finally getting nominated but wow, no nomination for the Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez?

Game of Thrones was shit this season...

Yes! Tatiana Maslany for the overdue recognition!

Most glaring snub that broke my heart though is Jane the Virgin's Gina Rodriguez. She won that Golden Globe, COME ON!

No Hannibal (not surprising) and no Justified. No Justified... how is that even possible? Devastating.

Nothing for Brooklyn Nine-Nine either? Absurdity knows no bounds. Oh, at least Andre got a nom.

"Game of Thrones" as drama is garbage after the hack job D&D did with their source material last season. the best parts of the show have always been the ones they took word for word out of the book, they're changing stuff from the book and it's not nearly as good.

Whether it deserves to be nominated has nothing to do with how good of a job they did converting the book. It has be judged on its own and with that said it didn't deserve it this year.

Very cool to see Tatiana Maslany get a nom, but I really don't expect her to win.
I'm just glad she's nominated. Although, I do think she at least has a slight chance because Episode 6 was pretty much the most stacked acting episode of all time this season.
Tortured captive Sarah
Untrusting Cosima interfering with lesbian romance, and does a little science along the way
Twerking gangsta Allison
Scorpion eating Helena coming to the rescue
Scorpion that gets eaten
Beth hallucination
Aphasia stricken Rachel getting bullied by Felix and crying about being alone

All packed into one episode. That's gotta cover most of the Emmy checkboxes.

No nominations for Looking was expected but still sad :( Lauren Weedman and Russell Tovey are great in it, I hope they can manage to pull out some nomination with the TV-movie next year.

Ben Mendelsohn was fantastic in Bloodline and I hope he wins best supporting.

I'm watching this show now and I completely agree. This guy is fucking dynamite. What a performance and what a role.

I'm happy for all the Netflix nominations. To think that NBC passed on Kimmy Schmidt and now it's nominated for an Emmy.

Happy for Tatiana, that nomination was overdue.

Lack of Hannibal was expected (not eligible this year), but The Americans?? Seriously.

I really hoped Jane the Virgin would get some nods. At least for Gina Rodriguez, although Jamie Camil sooo deserves a nom too.

Surprised at the lack of Ruth Wilson. The Affair may not turned as great as it had appeared in the pilot, but she was excellent. Hope at least for a Main Title nomination.
EDIT: ...which it didn't get. Also, they can nominate Daredevil for the Main Title, but had snubbed Hannibal?? Where's the logic?

All in all: meh. Golden Globes are always more interesting anyway, they take more chances.

"Homeland" (2011)

lol at Mad Men's competition.

If you looked at the overall Emmy list you'd think most TV today was crap. I mean, Downton Abbey? Game of thrones? Homeland? Really? Really?

Where's The Knick, man?
