This may be a silly question but is there a "home" page for Amazon digital downloads? In the same kind of way that the Steam Store has a front page which lists the daily deals and the top sellers and stuff, is there anything like that for Amazon DD?

FYI guys, I'm about 10 feet under water today so I can't go back and quote everyone who asked.

I just got sign of from Paradox to re-issue Steam Keys via email for Victoria II and Sword of the Stars Complete Collection to everyone who purchased the original Plentiful Paradox Package.

We'll likely deliver these via email, since it is a Friday though it probably won't happen until early next week. I'm hoping to have emails out before the holiday though (4th of July).

Man, that Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate edition is very tempting. I had DAO XBox, but it's almost a completely different game on the PC isn't it?

It is indeed. I got DAO from a friend for the Xbox as well and thought it was a borefest, the menus were clunky and the battles were a chore. Once I got this PC going on I decided to buy it and man, it's one hell of a game with the PC UI. Selecting the spells, using keyboard shortcuts and changing cameras really sweetened the game for me.

Not saying the game was bad on the Xbox, several of my friends have finished it there and liked it a lot, but I just liked the PC version a lot more.

It is indeed. I got DAO from a friend for the Xbox as well and thought it was a borefest, the menus were clunky and the battles were a chore. Once I got this PC going on I decided to buy it and man, it's one hell of a game with the PC UI. Selecting the spells, using keyboard shortcuts and changing cameras really sweetened the game for me.

Not saying the game was bad on the Xbox, several of my friends have finished it there and liked it a lot, but I just liked the PC version a lot more.

I just bought Civ V yesterday from the Amazon store. It was basically for my son, as I already had it purchased through Steam.

Interestingly enough, while I was downloading it I saw a notification that I could download this to any PC that I own. Now, we have 4 laptops in the house, so can I just share Civ V among everyone? Log on to each laptop and download the game so that everyone in the house can play it? Are there restrictions if I do that?

It's a steamworks game I believe which means you can put it on any computer, but only the one account will have access to it and only one person can play at a time.

I was able to play Civ4 on 3 computers at once using Steam's offline mode in LAN play. It's not that big a deal, because you do have to sign onto your account on all 3 computers to get it to work (just go offline after launching it, or whatever other witchery offline mode requires to work correctly). Online didn't work though.

they are both games that amazon has had some sort of bundle deal, how likely would you be able to convince your higher-ups to make a supreme commander bundle that looks the same way?

i know the first game(s) is by THQ and the second is by square, and in the past you guys have the square bundle with SC2. i bought that and really wanted the whole SC collection since i heard SC1 and SC:FA was better.

Hey there, we'll have a similar deal during the Labor Day sale, and possibly a "better" one (better being defined as a higher value bundle with this game in it) so we didn't match this one.

What we've found, in the past, is that matching stuff like this and then and offering what some people perceive as a better deal a couple of weeks later can have negative customer impact.

tony you have any info on when amazon is getting 3DS XL's...

I have no idea, I don't even work in the same building as the physical video games team.
