Huh, this is how I feel reading 90% of your posts.

Hahahahaha.

Apparently something to do with being a dignified king? I have no idea. Don't know how GAF is governed but it's certainly not a monarchy. And if it is, I would've thought Evilore would be king, with the red names his imperial guard.

Cambridge Cineworld closed abruptly tonight. Looks like I'll be cancelling my Unlimited Card soon. Pity none of the other chains do a scheme like that.

Yeah, it's a damn shame. With the price of cinema tickets these days I feel like I have to be at least quite sure that a film is worth seeing. With the cineworld card you can just go and see any film for a laugh since you already paid for it, and occassionally you'd be rewarded with something good that you might not have gone to see otherwise (e.g. Piranha 3D).

The cinema feels largely irrelevant these days when you can wait three months and buy a film on Blu-Ray without it costing that much more.

(London prices suck.)

Another six months after that it's on Amazon or Netflix or something.

A film has to be pretty bloody special to get me out to the cinema these days, I think the last thing I went out to see was The LEGO Movie, and that was nearly a year ago.

I was just thinking this relating to the death of Orange Wednesdays - I wonder how many people are going to switch from or not choose Orange/EE for their phone contract anymore now they're getting rid of the buy one get one free tickets.

I think more people are going away from them because they dont have an unlimited data package, in fucking 2015.

Im moving to Giffgaff from Orange because they have unlimited data for dirt cheap.

Yeah, I pay £13 a month on three and get unlimited data for that.

When I left O2 I went through the usual "please stay with us" crap, and I didn't really want to leave them so I was trying to get them to match it. At one point they offered me 1GB for the same price and argued that I didn't use that much data anyway so it would be fine. Then they offered me 8GB for something stupid like £40. They literally couldn't even understand "unlimited data" as a concept, it was a bizarre conversation in the end.

So yeah, I'm on three now.

I reckon I'm going to leave EE at the next available opportunity. I don't care about how much I'm paying, but the randomly enabled content lock fucking up my porn is unacceptable. I can't believe they still haven't fixed that.

So we did finally get some of that snow down here. Didn't last long, but I'm secretly hoping it starts up again while I'm sleeping and is heavy all through the night so it's really deep in the morning and I don't have to go to work.
Good to see ya, Mush. Sorry the weather didn't blag you a day off.

I took the kid out drifting in her buggy this morning. It was awesome. Huge powerslides, snow flying off the wheels. The woman at the post office looked at me like I might be mentally challenged though.

Titanfall enjoyment is starting to wear off now after about 15 hours.
I'm so tempted to buy the Titanfall Deluxe bundle for a tenner. Thing is, I don't really dig shooters, and certainly not online. I probably shouldn't.

Still enjoying Driveclub. I am beginning to understand what a car is. It has four wheels! Four!!!
Unless it's a Tyrell P34, a Panther 6, a Bond Bug, a Reliant Robin / Regal.....

You get the idea ;)

I did the same thing, however much I dislike 3 the unlimited data was just too tempting.

I also have a cineworld card, £16 a month so I only need to go twice a month and it's more than paid for itself

Titanfall is really good, you know. I can't do CoD MP to save my life but Titanfall has this lovely kinetic flow to it. It's so fast and frantic (and re spawns are nearly immediate) and there's less of a K/D focus.

Oh and are you joining the Hashtag Driveclub or not? You're wrong about it, by the way. It's the best racing game ever. And I know my racing games. The use of the apex on the racing line when oversteering using a RWD handbrake in the Maserati x220 is second to none, except for maybe Gran Turismo 8 Frontier Horizon.

The first hour or two of Hashtag are pretty sucky, but it keeps getting better after that.

Oh, forgot to mention the engine sounds. The engine of my Alfa Romeo No.9 GT Superb sounds like the purr of a warm cat.

Being a student I can get a minor discount in cinemas. Birdman for £6 was a good price (especially since I'm used to the horrible prices in the Exeter cinemas). Okay sure I have to hop on the tube to Camden but I'll have to get on the tube regardless with the exception of the BFI IMAX.

If you're hopping on the tube, you might want to try the Coronet near Notting Hill station. When I was a student in London a few years ago they had a Tuesday offer where you could get ticket that included an item from the concession stand for a fiver. Apparently a pint of Staropramen counted as an item from the concession stand!

Looking at the website it says it's being renovated right now, but could be worth a look when it reopens in Spring.

Damn me learning English from The Ultimate Warrior's promos.

Ask BGBW. He let his guard down, I swooped in, yet he still thinks he's the GAF King. I RULE THIS ROOST!

song choice?

Well I didn't choose them myself. I just asked if I could join in for a couple.

Don't Stop Believing (started out as 1 guy singing, I asked him and the DJ if I could join in on the second mic and by the end there was 4 of us, 2 to a mic lol). And then Gold by Spandau Ballet.

My university does karaoke nights on Mondays. I go along to spectate with some friends, but good luck getting me up there to sing.

Only ever done private booth Karaoke rather than public performance style some places have.

only time i've ever sung was at a place like that in japan. 12 'til 5am, those poor people didn't know what hit 'em.
was odd finding things like slayer's reign in blood in the phonebook-sized tome of song choices.

I've had like the best afternoon/early evening.

Woke up at 12 hungover. Slithered into town to ingest Japanese pork dumplings and Miso soup. Return to my dwelling, smoke joint. Have bath, delightful. Put on tracky bottoms, assemble a mound of clementines and eat them as I watch the Blu-Ray Extended Edition of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers with a total running time of four hours.

Gathering strength to go outside and meet friends for pints at the moment. Will listen to this on the way to pub:

F.O.O.L - Sahara

I'd normally say to err on the side of caution when it comes to leaving jobs but that sounds deeply, deeply unpleasant.

Break a leg on the job hunt, my friend.

Was this some dodgy cash in hand type affair, because they don't sound like a legit employer. That shit ain't legal.

I agree its really not ideal leaving a job with nothing to go to, but i don't really have any major out goings. Had a quick look on the local agency sites, loads of warehouse jobs with immediate starts to tide me over until i find something else.

Nope, legit job. Was working in a kitchen that had just opened, said they would hire 9 chefs, they hired 4. No where enough staff to prep and cook the amount of food we needed.

What kind of place was it where you're working through the night in a kitchen?

It was 8am till midnight, food service was 10am-9pm but by the time everyone has ordered desserts, kitchen is clean and food orders are placed for the next day i was leaving at midnight

my bad apparently I can't read.

That still sounds awful though. Worked on and off as a kitchen porter for a few years, 9 to 5 felt bad then I can't imagine working morning till midnight.

Hi guys, you're all well.

I was invited to a Liverpool applicant day for Law but couldn't make it due to it starting at 9am and getting there from London at that time would be a misssioonn.

Has anybody been to the city before? How is it? Also, if anyone has had any slither of experience with their Uni, that'd be great too!

Just keen to know what Liverpool is like without having to listen to draining teachers and fellow students who only care about its Russell Group prestige and "beautiful city!!!".
