Bulletstorm takes place in the 26th century, where the Confederation of Planets are protected by a secret black-ops army called Dead Echo. The story follows space pirate Grayson Hunt, voiced by Steve Blum, and his cyborg partner Ishi Sato, who were both dishonorably discharged from Dead Echo after they were betrayed by their commanding officer, General Serano. 10 years later, after a spontaneous and liquor-induced attempt to take revenge on the General and his forces, Hunt's and Sato's ship crash-landed on the planet Stygia, a formerly-hospitable planet now overrun with meat-eating plants, feral mutant tribes, criminals, and Godzilla-sized monsters. Hunt and Sato search for a way off the planet, all while doing battle with the General's forces, who also crashed on Stygia after Hunt's attack. Along the way, they're joined by Trishka Novak, a foul-mouthed woman with a dark past who also knows her way around a gun. One of the locations they travel to on Stygia is the city of Elysium, formerly a Vegas-like adult paradise.

Isn't it 'Dick-tits'?

Anyways, the demo was pretty fun. I'm not sure how well it'll hold up over a full game, though. Is there a PC demo coming out soon?

I'll be curious to see the reviews on this. Demo wasn't as much fun as I thought it was gonna be, but I still like the concept of the game and hope that it delivers.

Does the gameplay really have much in common with Gears besides the fact that you shoot things? I haven't played much Painkiller myself, but I imagine some people will think that's a better comparison, from what I've heard in the past.

I'm pretty excited to play this, but it's too bad it's coming out between MvC3 and Muchi Muchi Pork & Pink Sweets. No time to pick it up on day one, so I'm going to add it to my Goozex queue.

Great demo though, it certainly has the potential to be the best single player FPS this gen.

That was sent out to reviewers. They weren't happy having to dig through stinking meat to find a usb of crap.
Giant Bomb featured it in a mailbag, looked disgusting.

I can only think about this game while I kill time before picking up MvC3, but it will be awesome. Can't wait to play a fun FPS again. I've never spent so much time replaying a demo as I did Bulletstorm's.

I doubt it :(

Sad too because I assume this game will look stunning maxed

I have yet to find out how the skill kill system is supposed to impact my single player game (which is all I would play) and keep me from just blasting enemies the old fashioned way to advance.

You get more points for more skillshots and more stylish killing, which translates to faster upgrades. Same system as a Devil May Cry game.

Pre-ordered and paid in full. Gonna be great. Plus, Gears 3 beta access in April. Can't get any better than this. This, Mahvel and Killzone 3 are going to have me very busy :)

lol guess dicktits will never die. Wish there was a better subtitle, but then again i'm just glad the game has an OT.

I guess it's still a work in progress? Need some PC/PS3 boxes, more screens, Gears beta info and so on.

Looked on the Bulletstorm site and it appears the game will be on Steam on release day :)

unfortunately the game uses GFWL :(

Picking this up on 360. Enjoyed the demo. Hoping to con at least one friend into joining me and buying it for some co-op action.
